Unfortunately, potatoes contain too much starch for some of us @RosemaryJackson. I cannot handle spuds in any form, so take the easy route and avoid them altogether.Yesterdays menu at lunch club. Tomato soup to start; Main course; 2 scoops of mashed potato, carrots, cabbage and a pork steak; I took my own sugar-free jelly for afters because they always have sponge and custard or something like that.

Lunch some kimchi and spoon of hummus on LC seeded crackers followed by a few garden berries with hm yoghurt
Dinner venison meatballs in hm passata with a small portion of pre soaked low carb pasta mixed in and topped with fresh basil and parmesan shavings. With glass of red wine.
