Breakfast kefir with no grains LC granola
Lunch out at Cote for lunch but definitely didn't read the menu description properly I spotted the bun and the frites and asked for them to be left off my burger meal they offered extra salad as a swap which was good. He asked did I want the cheese topping which I did but he didn't mention the huge spoon of sugary chutney that came between the burger and the cheese! So I had to scrape off the generous chutney which in my view tasted like jam!

Dinner made a frittata with ham, cheese and mushrooms made a large one for sharing with six eggs but lots left for leftovers tomorrows lunch. Served my share with coleslaw and salad.

The frittata looks lovely @shelley262 I sympathise about the lunch though, I’ve often had annoying surprises when I haven’t noticed ‘extras’.
Today I had h/m yoghurt with raspberries and M&S grain free granola.
Lunch was egg mayo and lettuce on l/c bread. A small amount of organic toasted coconut chips to follow, which quickly turned into a large amount. I can’t be trusted around them - way too moreish.
Dinner was DD keto Chinese pork stew with cabbage. It’s a very simple dish which tastes sublime. 1 glass dry white wine. IMG_1724955472.638859.jpg

Breakfast: my usual low carb coconut ‘porridge’ with strawberries washed down with a black coffee.
Late morning: black coffee and a carb killa bar.
Skipped lunch.
Mid afternoon: black coffee and another carb killa bar.
Dinner: gammon steak with broccoli and carrots.

I got a message from neighbour Astrid to say she got the job she and about 500 other people applied for, so I walked 15 minutes to congratulate her in person.
Right in time to join in with their barbecue so I had spareribs, a small steak, lots of olives and some cheese stuffed peppers.

Borrowed a bike to get back home, no idea why my BG is at 8 right now, it doesn't make sense. The extra exercise should have been enough to keep me well below 6.
Barbecue sauce on the spare ribs perhaps? @Antje77

Just goes to show, eating out can be a minefield @shelley262 even after years of practice.

Nope, they were the same spareribs we always have, and the exercise should have easily dealt with it. Just one of those days I guess.

Today was another day of andijviestamppot with cheese cubes and bacon rashers. :hungry:

Did you have the butter mayo while it was still warm? I bet that would be gorgeous with the salmon, like a hollandaise sauce.

B- 2 eggs fried in butter and topped with grated Gruyère while still in the pan so it melted.
The day ran away with me, got home at 4:30 thinking it was lunchtime and made a toasted cheese sandwich using 90 second mug bread recipe and Gruyère, and fried in butter. Couple of cherry toms.
D- blackberries and yoghurt to keep Paul company while he ate his dinner at the normal time ( I wasn’t hungry having had lunch only an hour earlier) IMG_1725054795.410788.jpg
