Thank you for this @shelley262. I've not seen this wine offered for sale here, but will look out for it in future. It was this one and surprisingly had some real flavour - it was a 2022 one though not 2020 as pictured - we had a warmer year then and Abergavenny is in Wales but borders Herefordshire.Deri Coch Red Wine 2022
A light bodied Red with a lovely ruby colour, aromas of cherries and blackcurrant, these aromas also dominate the palate. A rare product in Wales' cool climate, the red grapes need a much longer summer season than we normally get here in Wales to ripen fully.Serving suggestion: Salmon or other...sugarloafvineyards.co.uk
My garden mint has flourished in this year's wet conditions @IanBish. It seems to have an affinity with peas and other green vegetables and its aromatic leaves transform a salad.
I used to make a lovely pea and mint soup, LivingLightly. I should maybe make some more of it.My garden mint has flourished in this year's wet conditions @IanBish. It seems to have an affinity with peas and other green vegetables and its aromatic leaves transform a salad.
Yes, please! Pea and mint soup sounds tasty @IanBish.I used to make a lovely pea and mint soup, LivingLightly. I should maybe make some more of it.
Breakfast kefir then fried mushrooms in olive oil and served on low carb toast
Lunch small bowl of salad including olives, garden tomatoes, half a ripe avocado and a spoon of home made coleslaw topped with seed mix) with nuts, cheese and low carb seeded crackers. Jar in photo is rest of my coleslaw to be eaten and stored in fridge for next few days.

Dinner steak with onions, one garden tomato and mushrooms all cooked in olive oil - should have browned onions more!

Also had a glass of a lovely red Welsh wine - it was a present and from a vinery in Abergavenny called sugar loaf vineyards and was very tasty.
That egg looks lovely. And I love black bean and garlic sauce.Third and last day of my green beans and oven baked pork belly dish, again with a mini egg from our hens.
Colour and flavour from onion, bell pepper, and a (store bought) black bean and garlic sauce. Not low carb but a very strong flavour so only a little needed.

We often enjoy spiralised zucchini in place of pasta @MommaE. Here in the UK, they're called courgetti, as a rule.Breakfast was zucchini bread with butter, early to play pickleball at 7:30 am
Lunch…I’m beginning to think I missed lunch which explains the picking at cheese, nuts and almond butter while gardening this afternoon.
Dinner will be more zucchini, grilled this time in place of the pasta for spaghetti bolognaise.
Welcome to this thread for diabetic foodies @wanipuk. It's good to see you here.Morning Coffee
a banana for lunch
some red meat for dinner before 7
