Greetings @ianpspurs and welcome to this thread for diabetic foodies.Hello again Old friends - well Adele is a Spurs gel. I'm here for a possible favour but I'll stay on topic.
Keto Hana's raspberry granola (30 gms) soaked overnight in almond milk with 48 gms ground flaxseed then added 108 mls Biotiful original Kefir (overestimated) 3x 750/800 mls Assam with almond milk over a 4 -4.5 hr period
Keto chef multi seed roll, president soft butter, Cornish cruncher cheese. (prompted google search for ketoish sweet pickle* - may try this if and when available) JKP forgot to order the Jarslberg
CWC and 2 x h/m blueberry muffins - 100 gms in all (Sugar free Londoner recipe) while waiting to collect grandchildren
Large salad with 3 extra large free range eggs from M and S via Ocado
The favour? Does anyone still have the recipe or link to the infamous CCBs - yes I know I created the recipe (sorry about those burnt suacepans ) but that was about 6 Prime ministers and 1 monarch ago. Thanks in anticipation.
*cheese roll sans pickle after 8 years is just " not giving" or as my neighbors (I know, I know) would say. I've tried the SRSLY one and have limited tolerance for the taste of most LC/Keto swaps - see below
Our runner beans seem to start and finish earlier now @Outlier; perhaps the result of climate change. One avocado.
Dinner will be preceded by my usual small quantity of nuts - brazils, walnuts, hazelnuts and almonds - then grilled pork chop with broccoli, cabbage, a few runner beans (they are almost over now) and cauliflower. Butter on the veg.
We know you love Brussels sprouts @IanBish, but do they need the starch-resistant treatment?Tonight I settled on an old favourite. Sirloin steak, fried mushrooms, and buttered, starch-resistant sprouts (well, frozen). The steak was lovely, and it made a change from curry!

Good evening @celeste123. Welcome to our forum and this thread for diabetic foodies."Today’s meals have been delicious and low-carb! For breakfast, I had a veggie omelet with spinach, mushrooms, and cheese, which kept me full and satisfied. Lunch was a grilled chicken salad with mixed greens, avocado, and a light vinaigrette. For dinner, I made a zesty cauliflower rice stir-fry with shrimp and bell peppers. I also enjoyed a handful of almonds as a snack. Keeping it low-carb and tasty!"
Having googled that pork recipe I think that’s now the plan for tomorrow’s dinner. Love it when you have all ingredients ready to go, especially garden fresh beans. Thank you for the suggestion.B- H/m yoghurt with blueberries and M&S grain free granola.
We had our main meal at lunchtime today - it was another DietDoctor recipe involving pork fillet, mushrooms and green beans in a creamy rosemary infused sauce.
D- After Aquafit class was cheese, nuts and a couple of the Olina’s pumpkin crackers. I finally bought them from Amazon but have since found them in a deli nearby.
Forgot photos today.
Hope you enjoyed it - that’s exactly the reason I did it too - I had all the ingredients in.Having googled that pork recipe I think that’s now the plan for tomorrow’s dinner. Love it when you have all ingredients ready to go, especially garden fresh beans. Thank you for the suggestion.
The scrambled eggs did indeed look a bit pale. But your omelette looks stunning.Breakfast out with friends, the scrambled egg was a bit meh, but everything else was lovely.

No problem @Rachox. We'll use our imagination. Thank you for sharing these photos.Away from home and ate out with friends this evening. So just post pics of my meal out!
The pics are posted in the wrong order but you can imagine which order they should be!
The delicate flavour of fresh salmon makes a lovely change from tinned fish @RosemaryJackson.Morning all. Yesterdays food in no particular order. Ham with 2 fried in butter eggs; prawn cocktail; scrambled eggs with cheese. Today I have a chicken leg to airfry and a piece of salmon for tea. Have a nice day all
Before diagnosis, I used to scramble my eggs with a touch of evaporated milk @Rachox. That's off the menu now of course, but I find a dollop of double cream stirred in improves the colour and goes down a treat!Breakfast out with friends, the scrambled egg was a bit meh, but everything else was lovely.
