B- cheesy scrambled eggs
l-airfried chicken wings
d- slow cooker diced pork in white wine, mustard and herb sauce. Strawberries and cream to follow.
I normally use the DCUK app but it seems to have given up the ghost, it’s been creaky for ages. Can anyone tell me how to post a photo on my phone when using the website. I’m getting a message saying the image is too big. Tbh it wasn’t a very photogenic meal anyway.

I post mine using website and only way I can get them to right size for posting is to email them to my email and save from there and use that image. I'd love to hear what others do to post images on website maybe easier than my method.

On a phone using android, likely almost the same on iPhone: I go to gallery and tap the pencil icon after choosing a picture.
On the bottom right this gives me 3 dots, tapping this gives me the option to change format. Changing it to 40% does the trick and the picture will post without issue.

I prefer using my pc for the forum, so lazy as I am I usully post my pic on Facebook and then copy and paste from there. Fb shrinks the picture enough, as long as I don't copy a full screen pic.
Good luck with getting used to the forum through your browser!

Evening meal was a second day of 'andijviestamppot, califlower mash instead of potatoes, mixed with raw endive and melted cheese cubes. Four very thin rashers of bacon to go with it, :hungry:

I had a kidney stone a couple of years ago and it was found to be a calcium oxalate stone. I was advised to eat low oxalate to prevent a recurrence, so along with low carb it gets complicated. Today when I was checking something else I noticed that dark chocolate is high oxalate :wideyed:
I guess I’ll have to stick to DGF white and milk chocolate!

Gosh that sounds like a tricky balancing act @Rachox. I suppose that means limiting your intake of leafy green vegetables like spinach, which are so diabetic-friendly.

Breakfast no grains granola with kefir and a few garden berries
Lunch hm hummus with nuts, celery and a few garden tomatoes
My garden produce is sadly coming to an end but a fair few tomatoes harvested today so roasted them with some celery, garlic cloves, onion and a few herbs drizzled with cold pressed oil

I then used a blender when veggies cooked and cooled to make a sauce to which I added venison mince and mushrooms. Towards end of cooking took half out of casserole to make a chilli tomorrow and added a small portion of well soaked low carb pasta to the remaining portion so that pasta took on flavour of sauce during rest of cooking time.
Dinner had a portion of the low carb pasta casserole sprinkled with some parmesan shavings.

Yes, it's always a wrench when garden produce comes to an end for another year @shelley262.
That home-made sauce sounds tasty though. I bet that knocks spots off anything you could buy ready made!

Do you buy or make the low carb rolls? I have been looking at some on Amazon as I will miss bread so much but they are so expensive

Breakfast :- Half a slice of toast with butter and coffee. (A compromise .. I love my toast but a full slice sent my numbers up to 10.1 and took hours to come down so tried half a slice and after 2 hours 5.7 !!! Yippee :D
Better food being delivered tomorrow so meanwhile ....

Lunch :- 2 slices of bacon & 2 very small eggs ... 5.4 after 2 hours :D

Dinner :- 3 egg cheese omelette

Snacks :- A few pork scratchings or cashew nuts

Thanks for the photo tips @shelley262 and @Antje77 I still haven’t managed it ( iPhone doesn’t have the pencil icon that I could find and I didn’t get round to emailing photo to myself. I’ve found the Tapatalk app so hope it works from here. I’m very untechy.)
Today I had cheese on L/c toast for breakfast.
Tin of mackerel in olive oil with salad for lunch. H/m yoghurt and strawberries for pud.
Dinner was M&S rose veal meatballs in a quick version of a Swedish style meatball sauce ( beef broth added to cooking juices with lea&Perrins

and a glug of cream). Airfried veg to serve ( broccoli got a bit burnt- house stinks now). Glass of red wine.
