Thanks! I had a look at both and I reckon i'll try and make the home-baked version. I can make "ordinary" bread so I'll enjoy the challenge with this one.You can make low carb naan bread if you’ve the time or inclination. I’ve used this recipe before https://www.dietdoctor.com/recipes/keto-naan-bread-with-melted-garlic-butter but it’s a bit of a faff to be honest ( they were nice though). Otherwise you could buy low carb wraps. These are good and very low carb https://deliciouslyguiltfree.com/collections/bread-and-wraps
Welcome @ang.helen to this thread for diabetic foodies. We're pleased you could join us.Greek yogurt with chia flax pine mixed nuts and raspberry blueberries
Why do you "want" anything else with it? It looks filling and nutritious and fills your needs.Made a fiery curry tonight, came out at 14g carbs. Excuse the presentation though
But, what I really need to know, is what can I have with it? I've looked longingly at naan, pitta (wholemeal and white) - is there anything bread-alike that you know of?
Yes, that's it exactly! When you (I) have eaten the same way for decades I'm sometimes finding it quite hard to follow the new regime, so with an "Indian" meal it used to be a curry and naan, or chapati. Old habits die hard and I'm doing my best to kill 'em off quickerperhaps you just in a habit
