What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

@Rachox Can you remind me where you get your low-carb pizza bases from please?
I use the Low Carb Food Company.

Type 2 diabetic. Found a couple of days ago, I don’t tolerate bread anymore. Anyone of you know about low carb bread? Thanks
Try the Low Carb Food Company.

@DJC3 I'm with you on the cafe cooking oil experience it can really spoil a meal out. I also find it can give me indigestion especially if oil tastes old or reused too many times!
Breakfast kefir then two high percentage pork low carb chipolata sausages served with two eggs scrambled in butter I did take a photo of my breakfast- is anyone else finding their photos unable to upload atm? Last few days I've used my usual method but server says image too big! . Edit thank you @MrsA2 the free app worked.

Bit of a rush this morning - by the time I got Em up, showered and breakfasted, then got my own shower, I had about 2 minutes left for breakfast before going to get my rebandaging done. So breakfast was 2 RyVita with cold bacon (I'd given Em bacon and egg, but she left the bacon). Filled a gap!

Can't remember if I actually took my basal insulin this morning so I am assuming that I did - BG is still only around 7.

2nd meal today: cold roast chicken and some more of the cabbage/carrot stir fry.

DIL will be having her surgery at the moment so hoping that it will go well. The surgeon told her it was risky and there was a reasonable chance that it would lead to paralysis. However, if she didn't have it done, that would definitely lead to paralysis. Hobson's choice really....
I hope the surgery went well.
i just noticed I somehow ended up on last years posts, not the current ones. My apologies.

Epic keto-friendly meal with a good friend at her home yesterday, a sort of pre-birthday lunch (hers not mine). Starter of prawns and crab with half a fresh lime squeezed over. Main was roast duck with a medley of vegetables - courgette, aubergine, asparagus, cauliflower cheese. Pud was full-fat plain Greek yoghurt. Water to drink. No need to eat again that day!

Just shows the best ingredients well cooked can still be fine for us diabetics.

This afternoon I was preparing veg for freezer ( for Christmas) I was lucky and picked up two reduced celeriac. Peeled them and popped peels in freezer bag ready for stock\soup. Peeled celeriacs I cut some into chip shapes and some into roastie shapes put on trays to open freeze. When frozen will put in bags in freezer to cook over time. They cook well from frozen.
