For lunch today I had four rashers of bacon inside one (quite large) slice of sourdough. It was nice, but my blood sugar was 10.5 two hours afterwards.

For dinner I had a grass-fed sirloin steak, with mushrooms and crunchy sprouts.

I’ve come a cropper with sourdough too. I only had a small bit just to test the result, but sadly it’s a definite no no. Such a shame, but probably for the best, I know I wouldn’t have stopped at one small bit! Your bacon butty looks grand.

Breakfast just kefir
Lunch mushroom soup with one slice of buttered low carb toast followed by two squares of 90% chocolate
Dinner slow cooked beef casserole ( added some slices of celeriac) served with cauliflower cheese

Followed by the very last bit of low carb crimbo crumble.

Your cauliflower cheese looks so good!
What's your secret recipe?

My evening meal will almost certainly be a LC pan fried toastie: two slices of bread, cheese, ham, maybe a mayo based spicy dipping sauce. I'll have a midnight snack of chicory and hummus which will have to do for veggies today.

For lunch I made a rather sad-looking low-carb pizza, with cheese, pepperoni and mushrooms. I wish it looked more like @Rachox's, but it was my last low-carb pizza base, and I won't be getting any more.

And for dinner I had a wild-caught sockeye salmon fillet, with hispi cabbage and mushrooms fried in butter.

Just cauliflower in oven proof dish, a good glug of double cream, salt and pepper, and lots of grated strong cheddar on top cooked in oven for 35 mins at 180 degrees fan oven.

Dang, I want that pizza even though I have just eaten, doesn't look sad at all to me!

This recipe was so simple that even CopyMeThat didn't recognise it as a recipe so I had to do some copy and pasting. For unknown reasons CMT chose to add a picture of @IanBish 's bacon sandwich so now I'm forever stuck with a sandwich picture to go with a cauliflower recipe. Oh well, I'll still know how to make cauliflower cheese.

I'd much prefer an Italian, thin crust pizza. But maybe in the future...

Should I demand royalties from CMT for using my sandwich picture? ;)

Uhm, hmm, oohf, aaargh, I can't really reply, much as my fingers are itching to type. I love our mod team and I hate creating work for them going off topic on this thread.
Maybe if we promise we'll just stop it here they won't have to post a reminder to stay on topic!
Let's take it to the parellel thread: https://www.diabetes.co.uk/forum/threads/what-have-you-eaten-parallel-chat.177870/post-2746156
