What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

Dang, I want that pizza even though I have just eaten, doesn't look sad at all to me!

This recipe was so simple that even CopyMeThat didn't recognise it as a recipe so I had to do some copy and pasting. For unknown reasons CMT chose to add a picture of @IanBish 's bacon sandwich so now I'm forever stuck with a sandwich picture to go with a cauliflower recipe. Oh well, I'll still know how to make cauliflower cheese.

That’s hilarious!

B- coconut porridge and blueberries
L- Schneiderbrot topped with avocado, h/b egg, red pepper and cherry tomatoes.
D- Beef shawarma ( 2 minutes cook time in Instant Pot!). Few squares Montezuma’s AB

Fage 5% fat greek yoghurt with almonds for breakfast.

Salad for lunch consisting of avocado, Cannelini beans (60gms), kimchi, artichoke hearts, tin mackerel in brine and lots of Olive oil.

Dinner will be roasted pepper, courgettes, onion, garlic, carrots and broccoli lots of olive oil served with sliced cold roast beef. Pudding will be more Greek yoghurt with some nuts.

I've been trialling a cgm and it hardly moves for my first two meals.

Breakfast kefir then two eggs and mushrooms on one slice of buttered low carb toast
Lunch celery, cheese ( stilton and vintage cheddar) with three low carb seeded crackers followed by three squares of 90% chocolate
Dinner chicken curry served with fresh coriander followed by low carb blondie and spoon of double cream.

Just ordered some. It looks nice. I'll let you know how it tastes and how my blood sugar reacts.
I had two slices of low-carb sourdough with butter on. It's okay, but I didn't like the seeds in it. It's acceptable, though, but I doubt I'll get more of it. It was good on the blood sugar front, though: 5.1 to 5.5 two hours later.

I'm going out for another Burns night meal later on (yes, I know it was yesterday) so there will be tatties involved.

Yesterday I had a very nice meal with Steve: Stamppot andijvie (raw endive mixed with cauliflower purée instead of the traditional mashed potatoes) with half melted cheese cubes mixed in, and cubed bacon and rookworst (Dutch smoked sausage). :hungry:
I got lucky at the supermarket and got reduced price blueberries and strawberries for almost nothing, so we had dessert as well, very unusual for me. :joyful: The berries were cut up and mixed in with the Greek yoghurt as well as on top.

I was very sure I'd have more than enough left for a meal for one but it turns out that Steve eats easily twice as much as I do so I had to improvise today. At least this means he really liked my food, happy with that!
So today was half a fish fillet a la bordelaise (Aldis freezer section) and a large portion of yoghurt and berries. No reason why you can't get your dinner calories from dessert after all.
