What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

Hope everyone had a lovely Valentine's Day.
Breakfast kefir then one slice of bacon and one egg with one slice of low carb toast
Lunch hm mackerel pate with celery and one slice of LC toast followed by 100%chocolate
Dinner Valentine's dinner of fillet steak with mushrooms and onions and glass of red wine. Pudding a low carb blondie warmed and served with a spoon of a new yoghurt I tried a Fage lactose free yoghurt which is 3.5g of carbs per 100g. It's high protein 10.3g protein per 100g and 0% fat. Tasted creamy to me but as the normal Fage 0% has 3.0g carbs to 100g and same protein probably not worth switching unless you are intolerant to lactose.

Breakfast: my usual low carb coconut ‘porridge’ with strawberries washed down with a black coffee.
Late morning: black coffee and a carb killa bar.
Skipped lunch.
Mid afternoon: black coffee and another carb killa bar.
Dinner: smoked salmon and cream cheese on a LC roll with coleslaw.

I accidentally bought 5% Greek yoghurt and it's not nearly as nice as the 10% stuff. I'll make sure I read the label next time!

I love the 10% stuff too. Aldi, Asda and M&S all have the same black and white tub for their own brand so I think they are probably made by the same company. I wonder if it’s actually Fage? They seemed to have stopped full fat yoghurt these days.

Hotel breakfast to set us up for the 7hr drive home was 3 poached eggs and mushrooms on L/c toast ( I’d taken low carb rolls with me so sliced one and put it in the rolling toaster thing on the breakfast bar)
A few black coffees en route.

Afternoon snack when we finally got home was a handful of nuts and some cheese.
Dinner was braised ox cheek ( from my freezer) and cauli mash. 10% Greek yoghurt and blueberries to follow.

Breakfast kefir then fried a couple of high pork content chipolata sausages and served with one poached egg
Lunch mushroom soup served with a slice of low carb bread followed by two squares of 90% chocolate
Dinner to go with our hm chicken curry this week I tried out making my own low carb rotis using a flour mix from the Panda pantry ( I've been buying made ones from DGF but they no longer make them and found out they used a mix from Panda so gave it a go) a bit fiddly but think I've got it worked out now and although I got odd shapes rolled out they tasted really good so will be making them going forward. Rolled them out with some extra panda LC flour.

The rotis are rarely available when I order plus there was an announcement last month that not doing any wraps except on subscription - they must have reversed their decision - so thought I'd try making them. Hadn't spotted them on restock but I usually need to buy my stuff midweek to get right delivery date so will probably keep making my own. The mix is good value too.

Breakfast kefir then two poached eggs with mushrooms
Mid morning tried out making a Panda pantry cinnamon cake mix ( I bought a mixed trial bag - like the roti mix yesterday) as free bag of panda flour in the trial bag offer plus free delivery so didn't have to buy big amounts to get free delivery). it made enough for a reasonable sized tray bake which I cut up into 12 portions and froze most of them)
Lunch mushroom soup with one slice of low carb toasted bread followed by a portion of the cinnamon cake - yummy I'll be buying a mix again maybe I'll try the lemon one next time.
Dinner made a cauliflower mash cheese 'pie' ( cooked cauli, mashed with butter and cream put in oven dish and covered with grated cheese before popping in oven) served with slow cooked beef.

Did add a bit of beef stock to beef and served with spoon of horseradish. Also glass of red wine.
