That lamb shank looks gorgeous! I plan on having one this weekend. I hope mine is as good as yours looks.
Hummus is an odd one for me, I can eat a lot more of it without insulin than you'd think according to the carb content, even with store bought hummus. You hummus sounds lovely @shelley[emoji6![]()

I’ve only dared have the smallest spoonful since going low carb but I might experiment, I love it.![]()
Try freezing the hummus in small pots or ice cube trays.Breakfast kefir then mushrooms and poached egg
Lunch hummus, nuts and celery followed by a few berries and yoghurt. (I made a large amount of hummus using expensive, good quality extra virgin olive oil for our 50th Golden Wedding party last Saturday and very little was eaten on the day so it's been a daily lunch feature this week - I hate wasting good quality food. Think it will be okay for a week in fridge though - it's just rinsed and drained, cooked organic chick peas whizzed with six cloves of garlic, lemon juice, spoon of tahini, sprinkle of cummin, and lots of olive oil. Thankfully my bgs seem to tolerate the chick peas in a spoon of hummus. Out tomorrow for the day and made a low carb cheese roll to take so will be having a hummus break - you can have too much of even the good stuff! Back to it on Friday!)I
Dinner Sea bream with peas followed by hm LC lemon cake.
This is going to sound really stupid - but how do you cook chicken like that? I've never done chicken in a stew, only roast. Hubby needs to cut back down again as his readings are creeping up and I'm on a mission hereAt my brothers still so pic of dinner only. Chicken cooked in a chicken gravy, I had minimal gravy with home grown baby yellow courgette and green beans.
