Hi all
@Goonergal good to see you back - wondered if work too busy.
I’m back from mums - lousy journey back on M1 southbound today, two complete standstills due to two different lorry fires! Still just frustrating for lots of us travellers but back safe and sound.
Breakfast one each of bacon, egg and mushroom
Lunch four seeded crispbreads and hummus and a very small bit of lc lemon drizzle cake
Dinner salmon, cauliflower cheese and lemon butter and glass much needed red wine followed by raspberry clafoutis with cream and small piece 90% choc with coffee.
Going holiday clothes shopping in the morning ready for my holiday on Sunday and hoping to meet up with youngest son for lunch out.
Glad you are home safely, sometimes motorway journeys are a complete lottery.Hi all

Brilliant visiting a very large m and s tomorrow and need another small size cossie as planning on lots of swimming!Shelley - When I had reason to visit M&S on Saturday, it was the first day of their end of summer sale, with the sale items up to 50% off. One sweater and a(nother) linen shirt later.......
They had a lot of swimwear, as well as the usual linen stuff.
B: leftover roast chicken
L: leftover homemade beef kheema with coconut cauli rice
S: blanched almonds
D: roast aubergines with mozzarella, chilli, olive oil, lemon and parsley dressing
@Goonergal haha! Well done! You will never gow back to gnawing!

Evening everyone
Many thanks for your rib recipes @Brunneria @maglil55 @DCUKMod
I’m looking forward to trying them.
@Goonergal hope work calms down a bit for you, but maybe its just as well you’re so busy if it stops you buying more jumpers! I had a real jumper buying habit last year and have since had to give 1/2 to a charity shop because I didnt have room!
@shelley262 I sympathise with your Mway journey, my last couple of long trips were horrendous. Enjoy the retail therapy tomorrow.
Today I’ve had-
B: bacon and fried egg on a reheated DD naan bread ( was just like a potato farl, lovely)
L: Mushrooms stuffed with spinach, feta and pecans. Clotted cream and raspberries.
MAS: couple of gin and sodas!
D: IP beef stew with buttered cabbage. Brie and 5 seedy crackers.
Just had a few ( not counted or weighed, whoops) Callebaut choc drops.
A yard of wine anyone?
If your butcher doesn't do it routinely (mine doesn't), just ensure you remove the membrane from the reverse of your ribs.
The button doesn't pop up when cooked - doh that's posh turkeysThanks for the membrane tip I’ll have a look before cooking. What happens if you leave it on?
