Hi I’ve always watched the apprentice but will only get to see the first episode then will miss the next 3 due to hols so am debating whether to watch or notHi all.
Welcome back @DJC3 lovely to see your cheery posts again.
Another late day at work - it’s crazy right now - and another impromptu OMAD day. Had lunch with a colleague - small doner kebab (no bread) with salad. She was delayed in a meeting and was very hungry so had 25g almonds as a starter.
Not hungry when I got home so cooked the fish that I’ve been planning to eat for a few days and made a creamy/cheesy sauce: all packed up to take for lunch tomorrow.
Totally off topic but any other Apprentice watchers among you?

Much to my chagrin I have to admit the veg stock paste has become a favourite. However, even a stopped clock is right twice a dayHave you considered the IP Veggie Stock Paste yet? It's a fantastic, easy addition of seasoning to almost anything. I can struggle a bit, seasoning as I go and this has saved my bacon so many times. Even @ianpspurs is a fan!

It doesn't totally freeze, due to the high salt content, but that also helps preserve it.
Yes, I’m at work until Tuesday then travel to Manchester Wednesday before flying Friday, really looking forward to going now, I’m on the countdownIs that your US holiday @jayney27 ?

Not wishing to speak for @maglil55 , but Scotch Broth will usually contain root vegetables, plus often a broth mix, which is, pearl barley, yellow split peas, green split peas, marrowfat peas and split lentils. It's a hearty soup.
And it was indeed Scoth Broth. Hearty is one word for it. Spoons will stand vertical in it tomorrow! I can usually get another pot full once I dilute with more stock. It varies what hubby puts in it veggie wise. Current batch has onion, celery, cauliflower, chopped turnip and loads of grated carrots. Add to that the broth mix AND he puts in loads of peas and extra barley plus the chopped meat from the boiling beef.Ah yes, wasn’t thinking Scotch broth!
I have never had those. Will look out for them, will try them with iceThese infusions are lovely aren’t they? I love the rose lemonade

The boys absolutely love it. They were jumping up and down the day before going Yah, Papa is making broth. As soon as they got in today they wanted their broth and crusty bread. Another popular one is lentil but broth is the favourite.
I have to agree with you. It's difficult to decide who is worse although I think the women succeeded in being really awful people on last night's showing. I would have hated to do business with any of the individuals that pop up on that show. Hubby has to remove things from in front of me in case I start throwing them at the TV. But yes, it's an addictive irritation and I do love Claude. Thanks for those kind words and thanks for your encouragement the last couple of days.
I watch The Apprentice cringing all the time - they are all so irritating, but it’s addictive.
Record or get it on catch up? But there again 3 episodes of irritation in one go might be overloadHi I’ve always watched the apprentice but will only get to see the first episode then will miss the next 3 due to hols so am debating whether to watch or not
Is that why they are an ex?I love it - highly entertaining. Last year one of the candidates was the ex of one of my colleagues.
The combined effect of reducing carbs even further and cutting out sweeteners seems to be keeping me fuller longer and my energy levels have gone up a notch. Very interesting.
