Well that went as well as waking at 3.30 in November could ever be expected to go. @maglil55 I would certainly enjoy a Masala and tomato and onion are the basis of most things I like. Julie is not so keen on either tomato or anything spicy. Link to recipe didn't work, sadly. (The Fens have 1 n - my aunt is Mrs Fenn and she doesn't eat anything spicy)
Breakfast: - Tea - 4.10 start. Went through many pints - early waking is a definite too LC side effect for me - casts doubt in my mind; no WOE should do that - happens too often to be chance
Dockey : Waitrose Americano with soya single cream
Lunch : Avocado salad
Mid Afternoon: More tea
Evening meal: Smoked Tofu Vibrant Rainbow stir fry + mushrooms; with Gluten Free Tamari Soy sauce, S/F Maple syrup (recipe wanted honey or brown sugar) , Tabasco (couldn’t find garlic chilli sauce) and Peanut butter - all my own work - tried vegan for a day seemed OK for taste not a good day to judge effect on bg levels

Evening all. Can post early today as I’m not intending to have dinner - and if I’ve posted it I can’t go back on it!

Missed breakfast as I was pottering and lost track, then it was time to go out to rehab gym class.
Lunch out with the whole Macmillan group (16 of us) as it’s our last class with our Macmillan nurse - she’s moving on to palliative care and will be brilliant but will be much missed by us lot.
Had chicken, bacon and avocado salad, no dressing but extra mayo. 2 glasses red wine. It was a great lunch - we didn’t leave until 4pm.
Hope everyone’s had a good day.
Good to see you back @Robbity and @ziggy_w hope you’re not working too hard.

Hi everyone, first week back to work done, my holiday already seems like a lifetime ago :arghh:
Coffee with cream and a cheese omelette for breakfast
Lunch was cucumber, tomato and feta cheese with a ditch the carbs pizza recipe, cauliflower roasted and topped with cheese and pepperoni, I had this cold as it was a little bit like a quiche
When I got home from work I had an almond milk cappuccino and a PhD bar
Dinner roasted sprouts and broccoli with pancetta, chicken breast wrapped in bacon, warmed portion of my carrot cake with cream and a glass of wine

Meal sounds great and if any group of people deserve to have a good time together that one does.

Welcome back @Robbity and @ziggy_w - prodigious number of notifications from you ziggy!

@jayney27 empathise on the back to work undoing benefits of holiday far too quickly front.

@DJC3 have joined you in the no dinner stakes - brought on by unplanned excessively large lunch. Had noticed a Wholefoods relatively close to work (15-20 minutes walk) so decided to take advantage of sunny day and investigate as I love them in the States. Arrived to find a rotisserie so bought a chicken (assumed it would be a half but turned out to be a whole one). Sat outside and ate way too much of it, definitely more than half. Then went inside to see what else they stock and discovered a whole new world of high percentage cocoa chocolate. Bought an 80g bar of a new 92% variety - whole bar misteriously disappeared during the course of the afternoon. At 13.1g carbs per 100g, still only 10.5g carbs.

I’ve never heard of Wholefoods but it sounds good. I wonder if there are many branches here?

Strange food today lots of coffee with cream a boiled egg and 3 bags of scratchings after starting the day with a run along a frosty Lake Windermere. Now on the train from High Wycombe to London and I’m starving.

That frosty morning run must have been fabulous. I love the Lake District.

Lovely sounding menu today Jayney.
I’ve seen the cauliflower crust pizza but haven’t tried it - would you recommend it?

Well that was weird. I was logged in , could read the posts but couldn't post, reply, nothing - kept telling me I didn't have permission, asking for my password...Still don't know how I managed to get back but I'm here again.I think I got as far as Wednesday so Thursday
B. Yet another DD breakfast sandwich. It an addiction now. Tassimo Americano grande with a dash of cream. Just ordered a load of coffee from Tassimo. They sent me an email for 25% off and free delivery. Too good to pass up.
L. Nothing
D. Boys wanted lamb chops and had to work this around Halloween Discos. My dinner (much later) were the kind of leftover bits after boys and hubby devoured the casseroled chop (Yes it was an IP job and very tasty). Not sure it counts as a proper meal though.

No 2 announced he must have enjoyed his first disco as he had hair sweat??? As far as I understand all the fluid from your eyes diverts to your head and becomes hair sweat.

Today - Friday Boys 1/2 day at school. Bed 5.3 FBG 5.7 and DP has gone again.
B. Decided to break my breakfast addiction. 2 GF pork chipolatos, 2 rashers crispy bacon, 4 mini tomatoes and a fried egg. Tassimo Americano grande with a dash of cream.
L. Nothing - busy feeding 2 hungry boys then took No 1 to join the library. He moaned but now thinks it's a great place. Changed since I was a nipper - he came back with 10 books and a DVD. He's developed an interest in ancient Rome so there were loads of books to interest him.
D. Had one of my 'cannot be bothered don't know' days. Ended up with a boiled egg, 4 mini tomatoes, a bit of avocado ( it was too hard to eat a half) , bit lettuce and some prawns.

Later another Tassimo and a Grenade mint bar.

Boys are staying tomorrow and have announced they want chicken curry so IP goes to work again. Got them most of the day as Mum & Dad going to a wedding, hubby at football so an online shop was called for. Busy, busy.

That’s strange - I wonder why LC would make you wake up early? Do you wake up hungry?
