Hi all. Feeling slightly ‘off key’ with nothing definable, but definitely not myself. Also very hungry today.

Breakfast - none

Lunch - M&S Serrano ham and manchego cheese rollitos, supplemented by Coop small pack of 4 chorizo and Gouda rollitos and 30g almonds

Dinner - 2 poached eggs, 3 rashers bacon, followed by lazy dessert of extra thick double cream mixed with almond butter and 3 Hotel Chocolat 100% buttons. Also ate 1 pack baked cheese found in Waitrose (see pic). Very small bag, but tasty.

Evening all very good day with mum - managed to help her to have her first outdoor swim in uk for years in my friend’s pool but it was hot Spanish type weather! She absolutely loved it - it was a very special afternoon.
Breakfast boiled egg and one slice LC bread
Lunch olive oil hummus, celery sticks and lc seeded crispbreads followed by small slice of choc birthday cake
Mid afternoon after swim hunger! Lc lemon drizzle cake and yoghurt
Dinner trout on bed of asparagus with lemon butter followed by sf jelly and a couple of home grown raspberries and yoghurt
Planning taking mum out for day tomorrow to Leominster a nearby countrymarket town in the welsh borders.
Lovely day and wonderful memories made it would seem x

Breakfast - more of a brunch as I wasn't at ALL hungry first thing - wholemeal toast, butter and strawberry chia seed jam

Lunch - warm chicken salad

Dinner - very lazy meal of microwave butternut squash spaghetti, arrabbiata sauce and cheese. Tasty and minimal time in the kitchen as ours is the hottest room in the house

Chocolate Halo Top and thick double cream. Lovely!

@Goonergal, @ianpspurs and @Rachrox hope you are all improving. Bed 5.4 FBG 4.8 and today was foot measuring day so myself and 2 Grandsons ventured into the hell that is Clark's 1 week before school starts. To be fair I always make an appointment so I don't have to wait with the swarming hoards. It was quite entertaining watching No 1 instruct No 2 on what happens. Plimsols are easy, they chose their school shoes quite quickly and they are always allowed to pick new trainers too which were also dealt with quickly. They were incredibly well behaved so the morning was quite enjoyable.
B. Tassimo Americano grande with a dash of cream.
L. Very late lo dough wrap with pate pate, lettuce , tomato and a smear of Helmanns.
D. Slice each of roast pork, ox tongue, turkey and these Dulano German sausage selection with lettuce and tomatoes.
Halo Top Birthday cake flavour with the last 6 raspberries.
Early rise tomorrow boys are off to Holiday Club again. No 2 earned his first £1 as I mentioned and has come to the conclusion being good is a lot nicer than naughty. A good day I'd say.

Hello peeps,
7.8 mmo at 7 am
7.15am eggs with sausages and bacon then a few strawbs with cream (I knew I’d be walking two miles to the station)
9.3 at 9.20am after an hour on a train blooming strawbs
Drank loads of water walked about 2 miles more, down to
7.5 at 11am
Another mile walking, more water
6.6 at 14.23pm
Bought 3 Burger King hamburgers, ate just the meat and pickles, I’m sure the bag with the 3 buns in it still weighed the same after eating the meat!
Train home, 2 mile walk
Up to
8.6 at 17.00 which was disappointing
Pork chop and sausages with lettuce, cucumber and Heinz mayo then 12g of carbs in a fruity Greek yoghurt
2 mile walk at 7
8.2 at 20.10 the carbs in the fruity yoghurt?
3 mile jog in 35 mins, then .75 mile slow walk
5.9 at 21.20 yay!!!
Coffee with cream
6.9 at 11pm good by my standards, but I’ve put some work in today

Evening all. Another grey misty start which developed into a boiling hot day about the time I was trudging the 3/4 mile uphill with a trolley full of heavy shopping.

@Brunneria and @maglil55 thank you both for your IP tips, I’ve watched the video and got the app so I’m ready to go.
@ianpspurs is the Waitrose Cornish ice cream really less carby than Oppo? I like vanilla best anyway.

B: scrambled egg and bacon
L: salmon fillet with salad greens plus avocado, walnuts and olive oil.

Went blackberrying with grandaughters and thennthey helped me make the clafoutis like @Goonergal - I agree it was lovely. Thanks to @Bubbsie for the recipe. We had it as an afternoon snack while still warm with cream.
D: was supposed to be meatza but I’m not hungry so nothing yet - may have some olives and nuts later.

@shelley262 your birthday baking looks brilliant. Hope you get spoilt rotten tomorrow.
I'm not making anymore until we have visitors DJC...I can't trust myself with it...glad you enjoyed it.

Compared to many in here my menu is sooo boring. B. Usual bacon, eggs, mushrooms and green tea.L.(90% choc with green tea. Yes i know but still feeling evil.D. Have yet to have it but it will be 2 rissoles with green vegies. Actually i have been fighting a headache all day so might even skip the tea. Perhaps it was the choc.

@Moggely Hug for the headache in this post. Like for sharing menu as a rating. Menus are highly personal and influenced by our past and our circumstances. This is a thread to share and maybe get ideas but certainly not a dietitians convention.

7.9 wake up BG at 7.30 Sub 8 is very good for me. Just scoffing sausage, egg, bacon and mushrooms and have a bowl of cream and a couple of chopped strawberries at the ready. Next job in half an hour will be a walk to burn off the naughty strawberry glucose ..... I hope

Today may be the last of the really hot days but still no rain forecast here. I am still hobbling and taking plenty of Naproxen but I can move about without a walking stick - just very slowly. Lots of water today, which is a mark of how much I want this to clear up - I don't like drinking water. Menu:
Breakfast 3 pints tea with h/m almond milk; Hartley’s 10 cal jelly and 2 dessert spoons Fage 5%;
Mid morning snack: 2 pints tea
Lunch: Lo dough egg mayo wrap; small bowl of salad; 2 pints tea;
Afternoon snack: 4 pints water
Evening meal: Corned beef salad; 3 pints water

I let myself get too peckish today, and ended up inhaling a lunch of corned beef cheesy eggy thing. Delicious. Wish i had remembered to chop a chive leaf over it. They put chive on top of my omelette on Sunday. Awesome.

Then Ogri’La Chicken Fingers (WoW again). Bit disappointing, but very filling (chicken fillets in breaded style LC coating). I ended up putting huge amounts of spices in the coating, but it came out v bland. Mind you, they were cooked just right. :D
Will try again in a week or so. Can’t stand a culinary failure! ;)

Hope everyone is ok?
I’m looking forward to it being a smidge cooler here tomorrow. Very exciting!!!
