Autumn has definitely arrived here in the Fens! Got the slow cooker out to make some hearty soup. The recent chatter on the forum about soup has got me going! Made some stock from a chicken carcass this morning, but ran out of time this afternoon to do the soup justice. Not to worry, the soup's all prepared ready for tomorrows dinner.
Breakfast; back bacon with butter sauteed mushrooms.
G&T with Openshaws Pork Crunch - they're really pork scratchings though cooked in a way that they are a bit like Quavers.
Smoked salmon with cream cheese.
2 squares of Lindt 90% chocolate
Handful of almonds.
