Low carb coconut porridge for breakfast.
Out all day and wasn’t hungry for lunch until around 4pm. Had some nuts and cheese to tide me over until evening meal out.
Dinner at a Gastropub: Starter: ceviche of gurnard. It was lovely and very pretty but there was a sweetness to it so I expected the later rise in BG. Main meal was steak, chips swapped for salad but I forgot to stipulate no dressing. It was sweet also.

Well, it's definitely ceviche weather @DJC3 and I enjoy red gurnard. Pity about the sweetness though, ditto the salad dressing.

Chicory, watercress or rocket make a change from lettuce @RosemaryJackson. Then there are some lovely, easy-to-grow culinary herbs that transform shredded lettuce, as does a home-made, piquant salad dressing,.
I've tried them but don't really like them. As I said, I quite like the curly lettuce so I stick to that. I have digestive problems and a lot of herbs give mme problems so I stick to a safe few.

Cracking looking lamb shank dinner again @IanBish
Today we had a family outing to Cheddar Gorge and a lovely long walk along the NT footpaths. We took a picnic which was mostly M&S goodies - cold meats, cheeses, prawns, olives etc plus I made the popular tuna melt muffins. I also made @LivingLightly ‘s Nordic bread to take but annoyingly forgot it! I’ve now sliced and frozen it.

Morning all. I don't feel at all well today so am not going for a carvery. I might just have some boiled eggs or something simple. Ryvitas with cheese. Have as good a day as you can. :)
So sorry to hear that @RosemaryJackson. A boiled egg is just what the doctor ordered.
Take care and look after yourself.
