We travelled to Cyprus today for my daughter’s wedding on Wednesday. A spoonful of yoghurt for breakfast before an early start.
Brought a couple of little M&S salad pots to eat at the airport and in the plane as I knew there’d be nothing low carb. One pot was chargrilled chicken and Edemame beans and the other a Greek feta salad. A small pack of macadamia nuts filled the gap.
I’m looking forward to some good food while we’re here.

Spicy food which is too hot. Nasty people who have no idea on your life journey but feel the need to comment and be cruel.
Coffee and cream
Tea x 4
Sausages farmhouse x6 all day!
1 Peanut homemade cookie

First full day of our week in Cyprus. The food has been fantastic - it’s the first time we’ve gone ‘all inclusive’ and I expected it to be a lot of cheap carbs - pizza and pasta type things but actually it’s been low carb heaven!
Breakfast- too much choice! I had a small dish of sheep’s yoghurt with some walnuts, then a cheese and mushroom omelette.
Lunch - buffet style, I chose Lamb kleftico, some slow roast pork and a variety of super fresh salads.
Dinner - beef stiffada, cauli cooked in red wine and green beans. Then I went back for seconds - superb slow roast pork shoulder and a lovely green salad which had baby figs and walnuts in it. I’ll try to remember photos tomorrow.

@DJC3 enjoy Cyprus and wishing you a very happy day tomorrow at your daughter's wedding - very special. Love it when lots of food choices on offer so you can build up a delicious low carb meal. We are just back from a holiday where it was easy to choose low carb. Ate lots of fish, good quality meat and salads or veggies. I particularly liked the freshly cooked breakfast omelettes, asparagus, smoked fish and a few fresh berries and cream. I had walnuts with yoghurt too and it's a good combo never tried before.
Today back to normal
Breakfast kefir then two poached eggs on one slice of low carb toast
Lunch smoked trout with a few salad bits followed by a few strawberries and spoon of yoghurt ( added after photo!)

Dinner roasted a chicken earlier and served some slices with salads followed by hm LC lemon cake with decaffeinated coffee

Your holiday sounds fabulous @shelley262 I agree it really does make such a difference if delicious low carb food choices are available.
Today I had more of the sheep’s milk yoghurt and walnuts for breakfast, then a slice of cured pork and fresh halloumi.
Went to daughter’s hotel to help with last minute prep then we went out and had a lovely lunch of grilled kebabs and salad with white wine&Soda. The groom and rest of the family went off to a water park where they all got sunburnt!
Dinner back at our hotel - cold poached salmon and lovely fresh salads.
Early night for us all now, so we are bright eyed and bushy tailed for the big event tomorrow.

My daughter’s wedding day!
Hotel breakfast of sheep’s milk yoghurt and walnuts then a cheese omelette. Lots of black coffee.
Off to her hotel for the ceremony with the beautiful turquoise sea as the backdrop.
The food was fabulous a hot and cold buffet which ran all afternoon and into the evening. I had a lot of salads, one of which contained prawns and quails eggs. It was all so fresh and delicious. I ate grilled halloumi, lamb chops and pork kebabs too. A glass of fizz for toasting the happy couple and another glass of white wine later on ( very restrained for me!)

Hypocrisy, mornings
I'm not used to eating more than 1 meal and a snack but new medication means I need to eat at least 2 full meals to avoid hypos, and never, ever miss a snack or meal or else! I need ideas...

I've decided to postpone the meds until tomorrow so today have only managed

Slice of gammon
Mozzarella salad (tomatoes, olives, gherkins)

and will soon eat some cheesy coleslaw and smashed avocado (not together)

For lunch today I had a couple of high-protein rolls filled with garlic & chilli tuna. For dinner I had a home-made beef Madras served with cauliflower rice fried with finely-chopped chopped mushrooms and onions.
