B: Bulletproof coffee, 2 boiled eggs & almond/flax slices with butter
L: Stepped off the wagon to join my granddaughter for fish'n'chips on the beach. Only I had a quarter chicken with a dozen of the smallest (crispiest) chips. BS max rise 1.1 in three hours, so ok
D: Leftover spiced beef mince with salad

Today at breakfast I absent-mindedly broke an egg into my coffee. Gave it a whisk and warmed it up but can't recommend it for taste. If you're in a hurry and need nourishment there are better ways of downing a fairly raw egg I suppose.

I experimented a bit to begin with, gradually reducing the amount of carbs but I wasn’t getting anywhere so I went cold turkey and worked with 20-25g per day while I was losing weight. It took me less than 2 months to lose 30lbs. Now I am around 45-50g carbs per day and trying to maintain my weight. You have to try and find what suits you.

I made something very similar to this on Sunday, for grown up offspring coming to dinner. I used raspberry sugar free jelly instead of lemons, and ricotta cheese instead of cream. Topped with fresh raspberries. I ate a small piece, and they very kindly took the rest home to save me from myself. Much the same reason why I used to help them by eating some of the many Easter eggs they were given when they were small.

    D. 4 pieces of small thin ham, pea and cheese omelette.

I wanted to add more words but my toddler is taking me to bed for a head stroke and D (his milk)

    Snack: Hogbites chilli pork scratchings
D: Wild Alaskan keto salmon fillet, pan-fried in organic unsalted butter, organic leeks, organic courgettes and my mother's neighbour's unsprayed home-grown runner beans all steamed plus a dollop of organic ghee to melt over them.

    Yesterday:
B: almond and choc chip cake with cold custard (just back from holiday, had to raid freezer and back of cupboards!)
L: baked avocado with tuna mayo, cheese, rocket & tomato salad (went to the shops after breakfast)
D: salmon fillet, roast cauliflower, samphire; cream, lemon and dill sauce. Lemon tart with blueberries and clotted cream (friend round for dinner so thought I better make an effort)

Had a great holiday. Discovered that 3 cream teas in 1 day had no effect on my BS levels (just had the cream, no jam) but chips still a no no. Strangely was pleased to get back as had missed cauliflower. Was amazed at how big my courgettes in the garden were considering there were none before I went away - marrow sized! Am now doing a courgette cake & bread baking frenzy to fill the freezer. No point it going to waste!

Haven't eaten much over last few days as been stressed/anxious and not wanting to eat "comfort" food like I want. I know I will feel worse, and sleep too much. So not able to eat a lot. Although, bulletproofs....

Started with coffee's and they taste the best, but heart palps is making coffee a no go at the moment:(

Tried dandelion coffee annnnd its ok. Kind of. Will use up jar, then won't buy again.

Today had my first bulletproof raw caco drink. Mmmm. Hot water, fat, 1 dsp of raw chocolate powder and BOOM. I am not hungry and energised for hours. Lactofree cream will work with that me thinks, ran out so on list.

Question I add 1tbs of coconut oil and 1 of butter. Tell me its enough, or is it more??cause I'm gonna have to invest in bulk coconut oil jars...

Scrambled eggs & bacon--xtra strong cheddar and salad--salmon fillet blackened with pea purée.

    Glass or two of rose.

Full up so will probably skip the yog & berries.
