good morning all :)

4.5 today

a chilly early morning here which has morphed into quite a nice day :)

Little dog is still camping out with us and shortly we'll be going out for a little walk ;) The jam and medication is still working well so that's good too :)

Otherwise we're drinking good coffee and having a quiet day, I'm doing some small repairs and looking at autumn clothes.

edit - Looks like a bit of a rocky Monday morning start for some of us so I'm sending a combination of hugs to those who relish them mixed with a dose of 'give it hell' to those who prefer ;)

Hope your day treats you well :)

morning all FBg.....5.4..:wideyed::D

having taken my self out last night, and while not falling over drunk, had more then the intended one or two.

Not made too many enemies over the years as such, but i certainly ruffled one or twos feathers in my time, so last night was a good time to put that right ,
and after much Bro' love and back slapping i think it all ended on a pretty positive note.
Have to say i liked the evening

Uber home and then it hit me , that i'd over imbibed.
bed beckoned, as i headed for the front door.

when behold..our furry visitor..begged for some attention.
so an extra hour or so tending to the little rascals needs (and mine for a cat cuddle if i'm honest,,:D:))

Fed and watered, marley..(black cat..so missus named him marley after Bob) declined the offer of an open doorway and the great outdoors..

Too tired (;) hic) to argue, i left him in, and had the joy of madame awakening and cooing over him as she found him reclined on the bedroom carpet..

A great night of saying goodbyes.
but now the reality and a vague feeling of being cast adrift and having to forage for new beginnings elsewhere.

As they say... It IS what it IS..:D

a few days of lolling and lazing, with a touch of indulgence and gym/exercises/bike rides to keep me occupied,
and taking a close look at what needs attending to in the home..so i should be busy enough for the next few days.

the Future awaits...but it'll still be there after i take a short break, me thinks..:headphone:.

have a good day all.:)

good luck feeding the meds, things moving well with the dog.
nice scores yet again..

@OldButBold ..mate,you know the chest thing is the important one to manage , at least for today & tomorrow.
but i hope the disruption is short lived and you too are back in range real soon.
take care my friend.

I agree, T2 can take the back seat. Doctor has put me on antib's and steroids for another week the it's off to hospital if it hasn't cleared. So, breathing exercises and meditation for a week :)

Hope the extra meds will be the solution. Meanwhile rest, dont lift a finger unless to eat or drink.

Morning all. 5.7 today so outside my wriggle room for claiming control. 6 Mondays of chemo ahead when the support of a good WOE would be ideal. This one chooses to collude with another enemy to attack joints, constipate and deliver sub-optimal sleep for last 5 months. Obviously, I thank God for the treatment and care I have had already and will receive over the coming weeks. It would be dishonest not to make clear the major, (unique?), obstacles LCHF seems to place in my way. Now is very much the time for LC to start delivering again - it stopped about 13 months ago. Timely verse in Psalm 30 today: O Lord my God, I cried out to you and you have healed me. Enjoy your day and keep muggering on (or something like that Winston)
Just in: Enough with the hugs already. I'm more of an action this day kinda idiot.

Then Instead of a hug I offer Psalm 119:32 at which my Bible opened when I was looking for 30.

Life has a way of filling up the perceived gaps, jjraak, in my experience. Make the best of the rest and indulgence while you can. Enjoy!:singing::joyful:

Woke at 3:15 am this morning and set off by 05:45 for West Bromwich.. home around 1:30pm.absolutely shattered...sat down for a while then a quick tidy up..so.some rubbish TV with a cup of good coffee & maybe a digestive biscuit?...a confession I am cold so I have put the heating on...yes I know it's still September but it's just for a half hour to take the edge off...going to flounce into the sofa momentarily & do absolutely nothing at all.

I am doing the same. :)

Oh goodness me too! Have just put the heating on for 2 hours. @SaskiaKC delighted to hear shoulder pain is better. @HarryBeau take care and try not to worry about bus lanes!
Nandos is something I used to share with youngest son regularly at Uni and I grew to like it but last night rhe skin -on the thighs wa a bit flabby so disappointing but the veg selection was ace.

So glad you enjoyed the night. Just enjoy doing what you please when you please if only for a while. Enjoy the moment and dont think about the past or the future, if at all possible.
