What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Nine months to Christmas (Annunciation of B V M today) so order the turkey and oldies should start boiling their sprouts (not a euphemism). Swipey wore 5.1 today - not an SHD event but vaguely serviceable. My back says no gym today but it is Super Salmon Salad day so a winner there. Seven month old grandson is here today:woot::woot::woot::woot:. Apparently Matinee coats are back in vogue. Mine is now nearly 67 yrs old and won't fit;) @ultradad glad transit issues are explained.:angelic: What were the Bristol Stool Chart scores? (I find mugs and fridge magnets help me keep score (JKP isn't so fascinated) - 4 again today :woot: - TMI?):D

5.5 this morning at 7.30 AM then abreakfast that had 7.5 grams of carbs slice of low carb bread toasted now BG at 9.2 don't get it.

Spoke to consultants secretary again yesterday, a letter was dictated before a week last Thursday, (last time I spoke to her) unfortunately consultant has been on holiday this week & is on study leave next week so can’t sign off the letter, can’t even get a1c results, at least I’m not insulin resistant & stress doesn’t increase my blood sugar
6 mile dog walk planned for this afternoon

Not what I ordered but there are no refunds and I'm not about to be rushed to A and E. @DEBBIESCOTT very frustrating but you homed in on the positives. Enjoy the dog walk - I can imagine you having PBs and a full set of stats:angelic: Y'all stay safe and come back real soon.
 
5.2 this morning things seem to be improving hopefully will get back to my old self as far as big D is concerned.

Had a call from my DN yesterday she had been perusing my notes and has decided to change my classifcation to Diabetes in remission of course that's going mainly by my stats prior to covid she used words like gobsmacked amazing and brilliant and how did you do it the answer was of course two words low carb.
Though she has changed the review from 12 monthly to 3 monthly to be sure.

This morning I had 6.0 or 5.9 as I took 2 readings, down from yesterday's 7.0 so I am quite pleased about that. I hope that tomorrow's will be firmly back in the 5s where I usually am. I have discovered through doing this that what I ate the night before doesn't seem to bear any relation to my fasting reading. The amount of stress I am under does though ?
