What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Morning all, 5 mmol/L this morning.

I am a heavy egg eater. The price of eggs went up because of bird flu. Here in California from $3 per dozen to about $13 per dozen, not sure about UK.

Have a nice Sunday evening.
Gosh they must be eggs laid by the "Golden Goose". Ours are about £2.79 or thereabouts for a dozen free range. Or if you are prepared to make do with barn eggs, I have seen them as low as £1.33 for 10. Haven't checked the exchange rate but that's got to be a whole lot "cheaper". (Groan!)

FBG this morning was 6.1.

7.2 on the Libre this morning, but that 's after running around after the cats because they decided it was a good time to just about destroy the kitchen. They look like perfect little innocent angels, but that glass didn't spontaneously break itself, sweethearts. They can get away with murder, I love them so much.

Cat café yesterday was good. Finding out two oatmeal latte's spike me to 13 wasn't, then dropped right down into hypo territory. Guess there's still a touch of RH there? I'm weird. But the Bengal kitten was wonderful, she was a joy to spend time with.

5.5 at 6am but had to get in to work early so skipped breakfast and coffee. Checked again at 7.45 still with no breakfast and running around like a demented demon, now up to 7.4. Makes no sense to me as 16 hours fasting and moderate exercise but still can't halt the rise.
Mine is the same it continues to rise until till I eat ..then if I go for a decent walk it comes down nicely
