Hi @TooManyCrisps :). I would be "over the moon" with a HBA1C of 37 = do you want to swop with mine of 60 (last result a few months ago).
You are doing fantastic, you want to praise yourself more. :)
I agree @TooManyCrisps . Mine was 59 and specialist was delighted. GP started commenting it should be better but i told him specialist is happy. New insulin regime hopefully will reduce it more. Let's see.
Yours on no meds is fantastic result. I too would swop you in a flash. Well done!

I have Asperger Syndrome which is an autism spectrum condition and a full diagnosis of Adult ADHD which are characterised by impairments in social communication, social interaction and social imagination. I also have a rigid and somewhat unpredictable routine. I also experience obsessive rituals, some a bit overwhelming. But I have a talent in articulate creative writing skills and possess a photographic rote memory. I have sensory sensitivity and get upset by loud noises, bright colours or lights, and notice the texture and consistency of certain foods more making my dietary choices extremely limited or restricted to certain food components. I dislike conflict and lies. The Adult ADHD also makes me very moody and cross.
Good Morning, my awesome, lovely and benevolent friends,

I am posting to impart that so far I've been following my new routine, based on the action schedule Siobhan, the psychologist, compiled for me.

I awoke at 6:50 ante meridian BST, watched the Christian channel on Revelation on Sky Channel 581 and had a fasting blood glucose level of 6.4 millimoles per litre. Then at 7:15 ante meridian BST I ate a light breakfast of 1 finely sliced tomato wholemeal sandwich made with 2 slices of Sainsbury's Basics 35 p wholemeal bread, a little of the Sainsbury's 60 p soft spread and 1 finely sliced tomato. Then at 8:00 ante meridian BST I orally administered my morning medication, along with my 1 g of metformin and lixisenatide glucagon-like peptide subcutaneous anti-diabetic injection and at 8:15 ante meridian BST I applied my shaving gel to my face and shaved meticulously all the stubble from my face then I ran the shower and adjusted the temperature and stepped underneath it, washing meticulously and thoroughly in all the "nooks and crannies" as my Mum and Dad called them and stepped out and applied Lynx YOU deodorant and brushed my teeth with Colgate Cavity Protection toothpaste and washed my mouth out with Corsodyl mouthwash, the latter which I kept in my mouth for five minutes. Then I watched a bit of my favourite movie on Sky Comedy called Back to the Future II with Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd, Thomas F. Wilson, Lea Thompson, Crispin Glover and co-starring Billy Zane, directed by Robert Zemeckis and inspired by Robert Zemeckis and Steven Spielberg.

That brings me up to 9:30 ante meridian BST, 2 hours after eating my breakfast at 7:15 ante meridian BST when I took my blood glucose which was a very healthy 4.8 millimoles per litre! At 10:00 ante meridian BST I'll speak to my elderly Dad on Facebook Messenger video call then go out for my walk around the block and eat my lunch at 12:30 post meridian BST and take another walk around the block at 1:30 post meridian BST.

Lots of love to you all always and forever from Johnny Baker, a sufferer of Asperger Syndrome xXx.

Good afternoon, my dear, sweet friends,

I am posting to impart to you that I had my ready meal which was a Sainsbury's Basics £1.00 in money Beef Lasagne ready meal at 12:30 post meridian BST and at 1:45 post meridian BST Lee came around with a bottle of Evian still water and I didn't go out for my walk around the block. I may go shortly. My blood glucose level at 2:30 post meridian BST, two hours after eating the ready meal was an impeccable 5.8 millimoles per litre!

Lots of love to you, my friends. Next big event on the Action Plan Timetable is to stop consuming caffeinated beverages after 4:00 post meridian BST then my meal at 5:30 post meridian BST then my muscular lower back pain Youtube work-out at 6:30 post meridian BST then take my blood glucose 2 hours after eating at 7:30 post meridian BST then bedtime at 10:00 post meridian BST.

From,

I'm feeling a bit under the weather right now. I ate breakfast and lunch as usual, but post lunch I scarfed down both a small bag of pork scratching and a Nature Valley protein bar. Unfortunately I've been snacking a lot lately. I took a nap, and when I woke up I felt nauseous, which hasn't stopped. I did check my blood glucose, and it was 4.2, which is the lowest reading I've seen in a while (I am usually between 5 and 6.) I don't think it's low enough to give me a false hypo, when it's less than 1.5 lower than usual. Urgh!

I'm not quite sure how I managed the HBA1C reading of 37 as I never seem to get a BS reading of less than 6. I would love numbers that start with a 4 or even a 5. But you're right, I shouldn't moan, I should reflect on thd fact that 15 months ago it was 97. So clearly I'm doing something right . I'd just like to get it even lower.
We are out to dinner with friends this evening, so I will have to be very careful as I don't know what's on the menu. But husband is driving so I will allow myself to drink a couple of glasses of red wine which is the only way I know of reliably getting my level down. Sadly not a remedy I can take every night!

I had two walks today, one at approximately 11:09 ante meridian and one at 1:45 post meridian.

This is what I had to eat today:-

Breakfast:- 7:15 ante meridian; one tomato sandwich.

Lunch:- 12:30 post meridian; one beef lasagne ready meal.

Dinner: - At approximately 5:30 post meridian; one chicken hot pot ready meal.

At 6:22 post meridian approximately, I impulsively ingested a deep pan meat feast pizza which made me a hyperglycemic 8.9. Not at all good. I have to try harder to stick to meal times only to eat.

And I discovered from www.diabetes.co.uk tonight that my Lyxumia injection (lixisenatide) has a less common side effect in its performance in controlling my blood glucose levels, managing my weight and controlling my eating, along with diet and exercise and the side effect is back pain which has been agony for months now but I didn't know it was the Lyxumia!
love johnny xXx.

Poor Johnny - I'm sorry to hear your back has been so bad. You are really trying hard with your new routine at the moment though, so I'm sure you'll soon start to see some positive results. Good luck. :)

@ickihun - Vicky, one of the side effects of taking Tramadol is excessive sweating. Even when you cease taking Tramadol you continue to sweat excessively for several weeks later until the drug is completely out of your system.
I had it before Tramadol @Liam1955 . can you remember when i got tested for the change? As i thought was that. Long before tramadol. Mind u i dont suppose it helps.
I'm more concerned about side affects from beta blocker. Unsteadiness and ringing in ear. All affects balance. I'm still wobbly on feet. The crutch has saved me a few times from passing out or support when the cramps start. Cramping from loss of body fluids. Seeing gp on tuesday for help. Luckily insulin stops dehydration in us diabetics. Diuretic, diabetes and sweating a bad combination for dehydration. I often feel exhausted and weak.
I put a front on for friends and neighbours but the truth is I'm shattered most of the time. Or in agony and shattered.

Good morning, my lovely, wonderful friends,

I am posting to impart to you all that I had a lovely, sound and refreshing night's sleep last night so the CBT treatment with Siobhan for my autism spectrum condition must really be working even if I carelessly neglected to do my lower back pain Youtube workout last night at 6:30 post meridian BST. My fasting blood glucose this morning after a cup of instant coffee with sucralose artificial sweetener was 6.8 millimoles per litre.

Lots of love to all of you, always and forever, @13lizanne, @ickihun, @debrasue, @Diamum5972 and @TooManyCrisps and others. That's a brilliant HBa1c, @TooManyCrisps of 37, that's better than mine which was 53, well done, my lovely friend, you deserve a nice, healthy treat and should give yourself a metaphorical pat on the back for that wonderful achievement!

Love Johnny Baker, a sufferer of Asperger Syndrome xXx.

Poor Vicky - you've had a rotten time of things lately, haven't you? Maybe you could let your guard down a bit with your friends sometimes and not put on a front - I'm sure they'd be supportive if they knew how much you're struggling, and would want to help. (I realise this may not work with your family! :meh:)
Sending big hugs xx

You're not kidding about family. My adopted aunt has been very supportive lately. I love her back in my life. I really appreciate her. My mum was jealous and trying to put her down at 4yr olds teaparty. She's a bully. I hate bullies!
I haven't the energy to train a nearly 70yr old on how to treat her grandchildren. Her loss. :(
I can only make sure my relationships work.

Good afternoon, my friends on www.diabetes.co.uk, the best friends an Aspie could ever have and who I love with all my heart,

I am posting to impart that I had a much better night's sleep last night and awoke this morning, administered orally my prescriptive medication and took my blood glucose which was 5.4 millimoles per litre. At that time, I drank 1 mug of coffee with 1 teaspoonful of Nestle Coffeemate Light and 1 and 1/2 teaspoonfuls of Sainsbury's Sucralose Granulated Sweetener. At that time I also ingested 5 glasses of water to counteract craves.

I'm 3 days quit from cigarettes, today, Monday 17th April 2017 Anno Domini and recorded my biggest challenge on the cigarette smoking cessation so far on the www.quitnet.com website.

I was very happy with the link one of the www.diabetes.co.uk type 2 life members sent to me for the website www.cookingforengineers.com. I skimmed through the website, absorbing the information and memorising huge portions of the recipes available there. I'm very keen on preparing and cooking the Beef Stroganoff recipe for Lee, Ioanna and I made with beef tenderloin and cream.

Have a lovely day, my good friends. My blood glucose fell to 4.7 millimoles per litre just before I ate a beef lasagne basics from Sainsbury's ready meal and had 3 clementines for my pudding.

Lots of love,

From,

Johnny Baker xXx.
Greetings fellow Aspie!!

@ickihun - When I take Tramadol (not on it at the moment) I suffer the excessive sweating and used to get night time cramps/spasms in my feet and toes. To prevent this from happening I mix up those Dioralyte Sachets that replace lost water and salts and this works for me.
(I used to get up during the night and eat a bag of Cheese & Onion Crisps, but I wanted to get out of "that habit" - and did!)
It will be interesting to hear what your GP has to say on the matter? :)

Good Afternoon, my friends,

I am posting to inform you that I had a good morning at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses for the weekly Meeting. Kevin, my Jehovah's Witness friend and Pioneer for the Jehovah's Witnesses gave me a lift home in his Silver estate car and I took my blood glucose reading and it read 4.8 millimoles per litre at nine minutes to one o'clock. I had my lunch 35 minutes late of a Sainsbury's Basics one pound in money Minced Beef Hot Pot ready meal.

Love and Blessings to you always and forever,

From,

Johnny Baker, a sufferer of Asperger Syndrome xXx.

Thank you, @leslie10152, for your kind greeting. It's so lovely to meet someone else on the Spectrum. Every person on the Spectrum is different, they all have their own identities, their own personalities, their own characters and their own sense of morale and outlook on life. Apart from @Diamum5972 and yourself, I thought I was alone with Asperger Syndrome. But I've made so many awesome friends on this forum and they've helped me to grow prominently and with the ability to manage my health conditions better. Thank you, @leslie10152, have a lovely day.

Sincere kind regards with Jehovah God's agape love, Johnny Baker, a sufferer of Asperger Syndrome.

Hi @ickihun glad all is ok with the heart at the moment and the extra bisoprolol is working.
Yes bisoprolol has reduced my fast heart beat lovely. I'm very pleased. Just light palpatations when lying down now but I can live with that.
My blood pressure is good too. I have to watch it as it can rise still but normally only high after walking. Seeing gp for check up on tuesday.
Does bisoprolol leave your partner wobbly on his feet and have occasional body twitches?

Interesting you should say it makes you twitch as I do this especially laying down when in bed . I had been on 10 mg of bisoprolol for 6 years and whilst having keyhole surgery on my knee the anesthetist stopped the operation as my heart was beating below 30 . When I woke up he asked if I had a heart problem and I said not that I knew of . I was given the beta blockers 6 years previously after I had a stroke along with blood pressure medication. I was sent to cardiologist who immediately halved beta blocker to 5 mg a day saying I'd been on the maximum dose for too long. Diagnosed with bradycardia and may need a pacemaker. Glad to know what's causing the twitch .
