Hi
@shelley262, sorry for the mix-up. This seems to be quite symptomatic at the moment right now. Forgot an important meeting last week, which was quite embarrasing. Well there's not much, I can do about it retrospectively, though. Ah, well.
How are you today? In terms of managing your diabetes, you're always doing exceptionally well. You have my admiration.
With respect to coffee, I agree with you. Coffee is one of the biggest pleasures in life for me now (apart from red wine). I also switched to decaffeinated as the caffeine seemed to raise my blood sugars a bit. Did quite a lot of experimenting with different combinations back then. So, it seems caffeine raised blood sugars by about 0,6 mmol, the full-fat milk about another 0.6 mmol, and the xylitol by yet another 0.6 mmol, making it about 1.8 mmol altogether -- a bit too much to my liking. After switching to decaf, heavy cream and erythritol, impact on blood sugar levels is now negligible.
@DJC3 -- as I seemed to be a bit muddled recently and still a bit curious, could I ask again.
