What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

I'm in a right sweat now. I need a mixer!!!! Lol
Hand held electric mixers are really cheap you can get them from about 12 quid on amazon or prob cheap at local supermarket that sells kitchen stuff. Would be much harder work to do I think completely by hand! Good exercise for the upper arm muscles though!

Lunch at motorway services: egg, salmon and spinach pot followed by strawberries and cream and phd blondie bar.
Mid afternoon: white coffee, Airbnb host put in milk before I had a chance to refuse, but luckily only put in a little!
Dinner at a harbour side pub: gammon, eggs, peas, tomato, mushrooms and onions (gave all but one of the chips to my daughter as her meal didn’t come with chips!)
Average blood sugar 5.4 so far today, please with that :) However I expect tomorrow at the wedding reception and evening do to be a bit more tricky :nailbiting:

Edit: didn’t mean to post multiple pics, dodgy data here!

My dear Hubby bought me a new Kenwood Major for my birthday last year. I'd had my last Kenwood more than 40 years and it's still going strong as my SIL grabbed it when she heard I had a new machine.
It has its new permanent site on the worktop where it is easy to access so it gets a lot of use now.

Bed 6.5 FBG 7.3. Got a kick into the high 8's with DP though. Another day of rushing about. DIL had to get to an instructor for acupuncture CPD but at the same time the boys had to get to school/nursery so it was an early start as even I can't be in 3 places at once.
B. Black coffee
L. Adonis bar - nutty one with the cocoa.
D. Lettuce, Santini tomatoes, prawn cocktail, 1/2 avocado, slice smoked salmon, spoon of M&S whipped cream cheese. 3 walnuts.
Banana chia pudding with 6 raspberries. Banana chia pudding is interesting.
When not running about spent most of the day digging bits of Lego out of the nooks and crannies in the car while I gave it a good clean (It goes back on Wednesday when the new car arrives). Unfortunately, I did not find the Lego zombie baby (yet) but have ordered another 2 and told No1 that when the car goes back they'll take all the seats out to Hoover up the grass and leaves so they'll post it back to him. The second zombie baby will be explained as it finding a friend! He's happy with this explanation. Even had both Grandsons under the seats with torches to see if we could spot the zombie baby. 2 grandsons make some mess though.

Evening everyone
@Goonergal @Brunneria @Robbity many thanks for your kind thoughts re Tilly. Ive changed my avatar so you can all see what a gorgeous little pooch she is. ( love your new ones @Goonergal and @shelley262 you are both so trim)
Spent most of today driving to vet hospital in Northolt and picking her up to transport her to a specialist centre near Luton where they referred her. Still no nearer knowing what’s the matter, but she is deteriorating, its awful.
B: smoked salmon and scrambled egg
L: had the forsight to take pork scratchings and an Adonis bar with us to the vet today as I thought it’d probably be a long one.
MAS: coconut and macadamia bar when we got home, feeling v sad. Glad we still have a few of these left, they are the perfect indulgent snack and saved me from a high carb blow out.
D: kobi keema ( a dry mince and cabbage curry - it was a staple when I was a student as its so cheap, it later became a family favourite and it occurred to me recently that it is low carb. ) with cauli rice and DD garlic butter naan bread

Just having a late night snack of 5 brazil nuts and 3 HC buttons. I know I shouldn’t but never mind.

@ianpspurs I hope you feel better tomorrow - are you sure its not hayfever? My husband started it a few years ago having never suffered from it before and now gets it every year.

@shelley262 and @jayney27 I hope it all goes well for you tomorrow at your events and you manage to stay low carb.

@Rachox have fun at the wedding, I love your outfit - a jumpsuit! Bet you wouldn’t have worn that a year ago?

Aww Tilly is a gorgeous pooch, god willing she pulls through, you are in my thoughts.
Thank you for the good wishes for tomorrow, I think the food options might be a challenge so after a decent breakfast I will make sure I have something snack wise in my bag, just in case.

Thanks.
Good idea with the handbag snack - always good to be prepared. I usually carry an Adonis bar in my bag these days just in case.

@DJC3 May I add my thoughts and prayers to all the others re Tilly. Busy and stressful day for you so top marks for confirming you are now an LC lifer. The hayfever route was one I considered but the cream seems to be working so it may well be an infection which just happens to be in sinus area.
