What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

I had a bit of a carby day yesterday, mainly involving sourdough bread, so today I had a Mediterranean-style lunch of sardines in olive oil, with Halkidiki and Kalmata olives.

And for dinner I had something a bit more British: bacon, scrambled eggs and garden peas.

Breakfast kefir then two poached eggs on one slice of buttered low carb bread
Lunch mushroom soup followed by some Apple peel
Dinner cooked salmon with lemon and sumac in parcel in oven alongside cauliflower cheese ( usual cauliflower, dash of cream, seasoning and lots of grated cheese on top)

Scrambled eggs, avocado and a slice of Schneiderbrot protein bread for breakfast.
Lunch was romaine lettuce leaf boats filled with Brie bacon and cherry tomato. Greek yoghurt and raspberries afterwards.

Perhaps we should start a ""wrong food thread"!!!
I wouldn't like that.
All foods have their place. Guilt around so called 'wrong' foods is a major cause for eating disorders in diabetics and non diabetics alike, and the occasional splurge with higher carb foods can be very important from a mental health point of view for some low carbers. Some T2's (and many T1's) do well on a higher carb diet, with or without medication, which is perfectly fine, whatever works for you balancing both physical and mental health!

Mind, I wouldn't mind at all a thread on high carb meals, one off treats, going off the rails of your chosen diet, etc, I just wouldn't like a thread on 'wrong' foods.

Sorry, on topic:
Yesterday I had half a fish fillet a la bordelaise (Aldis freezer section) and cauliflower with 'raclette cheese' (Lidl) for my evening meal.

Today I sautéed a leek, added the other half of the fish thing, cream cheese, black pepper and a little Branston pickles for an improvised meal. Not bad at all!

Lunch soup followed by three squares of 90% chocolate -hungry as had been out in the cold planting a bare root hedge in our garden.
Dinner chicken curry with low carb roti followed by warmed blondie and spoon of clotted cream.

Your holiday food has looked lovely @Rachox . Las Iguanas is always a winner.
No breakfast as we were out early to go on a rooftop tour of Truro cathedral ( great experience). Brunch when we were done was a tapas portion of lamb kofte. Lovely but tiny. When I got home I had some local cheese I’d bought from the market and some walnuts.
Dinner was a large pork chop, sauteed brussels and cauli cheese ( lazy method: cream and cauli in microwave for about 3 mins, then stir in grated cheese)
