Could any gluconavii users please help me out by advising whether it's possible to edit or delete results on the meter? I've marked some of mine as fasting/pre-meal when they should have been post-meal and I also have some at the wrong time of day because the time was set incorrectly. I also...
I am currently on the Libre Optium Neo since I was diagnosed in December, and I was researching other glucose smart meters and came across the Smart Dario meter, and I was wondering if I could change from the Optium Neo to Dario. It is available for free on the NHS, along with the test strips...
After my routine blood tests a couple of months ago I had a phone consultation with the GP who told me I was prediabetic (stupid me did not get my actual numbers from him, so I've no idea at what end of the range my number landed). He wanted to refer me straight to a diabetes education class or...
(I luv it....)
I now possess TWO meters and therefore have the retentive opportunity to test one against the other. Both AgaMatrix Meters. Just so you know, Meter 1 is Bluetooth and Meter 2 is not Bluetooth. Oh joy!
I carried out my tests within five seconds of each. The blood came from the...
Anyone using one of these? What results you had and are you happy with meter? Changed from a GlucoRx meter because strips cost too high. Now this meter has affordable strips but wonder if I've made a wrong turn?
Dear all
I was diagnosed T2 about 10days ago. My GP and nurse are worse than useless and told me I don't need a meter and to have porridge every day and avoid fat & sugar. Literally that's all the support I've been offered. Anyway having read on here about the value of testing before/after...
Kind of at my wits end with this meter now, I was given it by my nurse last year because she fears DKA like the plague so yay for me there but lately it has been giving me some abnormal readings. Last strip batch had me at 6.5 one strip then the next at 5.1! So I have no clue what to trust as...
I have been using an insulin pump now for 7-8 years. I recently had a diabetic review at the hospital. Within two days of that I received an insulin pump contract through the post. This is a totally new concept to me. Basically is says that if i do not achieve targets listed the pump use...
I have a new addition to my body. A libre sensor. And I'm loving it. I absolutely love the fact I can scan whenever I like. I'm currently scanning every 15 mins following my cabbage Bolognese, glass of red and a few mixed nuts, just to see how my body deals. Back to 5.3 without much of a rise...
I am in the process of switching glucose meters (from Accu-chek Aviva to Codefree) and over the last couple of days I've been comparing the two across a range of times. Hardly scientific, but I've found that the Codefree meter gives consistently higher readings.
Day 1
Fasting (early morning)...
Hello all
I'm newly diagnosed type 2
I was hoping I could get some advice on a good BG meter. I've had a look through some other posts and a popular meter seems to be the SD code free, however some seem to question its accuracy.
I would be really helpful to me if anyone could let me know what...
Just received a new meter Tee2 from Spirit healthcare
The meter was free and came with 10 strips lancet and pouch.
50 strips were only £7.99
No postage and vat free if you fill in box.
Looking forward to saving money on strips. Hopefully reasonably accurate.
Manufactured by Nipro Diagnostics, certain lots of test strips may give incorrect low blood glucose results that could lead to undetected hyperglycaemia. This Alert refers to different blood glucose test strips to those covered by MDA/2016/009R.

Hey Folks,
I work pretty diligently towards maintaining my T2 diabetes. To provide some context and not to repeat again, here is the other link where I described it http://www.diabetes.co.uk/forum/threads/metformin-dosage-and-er-vs-non-er.105388/#post-1217816
I try my very best to maintain my...
Hi.
I like to bring by BG meter everywhere, but most meter-kits are quite chunky, so you need a backpack for just a small meter pouch. I perrfer to have mine in my pockets. There are very small meters but whey all come with those huge containers for strips that takes up 4-5 times as much...
I booked onto a local x-pert course with some misgivings, having read the experiences of some of the members of this site and having myself been reasonably successful with a LCHF type diet. I was expecting regressive advice.
However, one of the first things that the leaders of the course said...
Hi all!
I hope this post will help other "newbies" looking for direction and hope!
I was diagnosed T2 at the end of January 2016 (HBA1c 52, FBG 8.8). As so often for others, went to the Doc's for something else and "bang" there you go! There followed he usual barrage of feet, eye checks, and...
I loved my meter One Touch Ultra smart because I could enter the doses of insulin into the device.
But they stopped producing the strips.
Does anybody have any recommendation for a good meter, not too big, that works on batteries (not with a charger), that records the doses of insulin ? Thanks
Never really thought of this but I got a new meter from my DSN 3 months ago and noticed bizarre readings lately which I couldn't really put my finger on (like increased carb intake/extra exercise etc).
I did a test with my old meter and found readings differed by +/- 3.5 mmol/l on 18 out of 20...
Hi folks, had my first meter reading today. I got my husband to do it for me, while I looked away and tried to pretend nothing was happening. Lol!
Yes I know I've got to do it myself, but one step at a time. I need to segue into these things gently.
Okay so 1st reading was:
8.7mmol/L, before...
