Very frustrating. I have replaced the batteries and now have a slight cold but readings are more normal Thanks.
Going back to my barmaid days , Pink Gin was indeed with angostura bitters. The way I was taught was to put a little of the bitters in the glass , swirl it around and tip the excess out. Then add the gin. Going back a bit mind.
Oooooh. Confession time. Got home today after a week in a hotel and wife had done lasagne. Part leek part pasta to suit both as it keeps her carbs lower.
We worked it out to around 25g of carbs per slice (as such as you can slice lasagne, size maybe 2 1/2 to 3" square) Heh. I scoffed 2 helping thank you after the hotel junk.
That's prob 50 to 60g of carbs and even with an hours walk I was still 7 (4.4 pre) . Whoops. I can generally stay under 6.
Totally worth it though.
Lol. It's an obvious bump on mysugr.
The other thing the older gents were fond of was a Whisky Mac - a blended whisky with Crabbies Green Ginger. Don't know if that was peculiar to Scotland. That’s exactly the way I was taught. Tended to be drunk by elderly naval gents.

@DJC3 photo for you as requested the choc a Santa from my first advent calendar and a photo of Coopers first advent calendar a doggie one opened whilst wearing his Christmas jumper @ianpspurs bet you couldn’t think of anything more heartwarming!
Breakfast sausage and egg
Lunch cheese and nuts followed by my 1.48gs of carb advent calendar Santa with coffee
Dinner chicken curry followed by raspberry clafoutis with fage yoghurt
Cooper is incredibly tolerant of being adorned in various doggy clothes thankfully as my sons partner enjoys seeing him wear them! He does look cute though and very festive.Haha! Love that jumper!
My two seem to have something against jumpers.
They only need to wear them after they’ve been clipped short AND the weather turns chilly, but oooh, the pathos. The drama!
I have no idea how people get their dogs to get dressed up. Mine just don’t react well...
Today
No B
L of oomi noodles and chorizo
D will be sausages and homemade halloumi chips
Was going to be chicken curry, but saving that for tomorrow
We started our advent calendars today too. Mr B had a choc/orange protein blob the size of a marble in his (he doesn’t eat choc) and mine was a fennel herb tea bag (yuck).
So not off to a good start!
We decided to swap. And both enjoyed the results.
