Having now eat the ones we bought, they are definitely just like Oomi noodles.
Here you goIf it turns out well I'll post a picture later
@Annb there’s now a piece on this site: https://www.diabetes.co.uk/your-guide-to-the-coronavirus-should-i-be-worried/
I know what you're saying @Annb. I am regarded suspiciously with this cold, particularly the cough. I believe you've got your first case on the island now?
You're right though. It's exhausting.
Hi All
Today was usual brekkie of LL toast, butter, lots tea.
Lunch on the run in the car was M&S rollitos.
Supper was meant to be Spag/Courgetti Bolognese but Mr PM’s tum not up to it so will be tomorrow. So Cheese & Tomato omelette for me. Fish Fingers probs for Mr PM.
This was from the local market and farm shops also have it but very expensive there. Waitrose has some which is better than the market versions today. Before we moved - 5 weeks ago - ours was about ready. There would be a really good crop now.Ian - Where are you finding your rhubarb? Ours looks great, but I'm nervy if I start harvesting too early it won't crop so well over the longer term.
I miss my stewed rhubarb at brekkers.

No greengrocers here but market in this town every Friday. Bury St Edmunds Weds and Sat Newmarket Tues and Sat so plenty of choice of markets. Rhubarb from garden and Greek yogurt with added flaxseed was my way in to this. Hope you find some rhubarb and your crowns deliver. Thanks Ian. I'll have to get my eyes peeled.
Since getting back, we've been a bit busy, one way or another. Our crowns are coming along nicely, but I'll get my eagle eyes onto the local market over the coming days.
Very sadly, two very good greengrocers' in our nearest town, closed in 2019. One, then the other, were my rhubarb top-up dealers.
I'm salivating at the thought of tart stewed rhubarb.

I'm just wondering @Annb if you are like me and the leg issues are worse if you have a bug stewing? My problem is nerve damage from the crushed spinal cord in the crash but, every time something is brewing "bug" wise, my legs react first. Have to say your BGs are very odd although I went low yesterday.6.30 am: FBG 3.6. Decided not to try to fast today since I started my day with 2 digestive biscuits (to bring BG up a bit).
8.50 am: had the remainder of the fish pie
12.30: avocado salad
6.15 pm: mug of green soup with a soda scone - that put my BG up to 14. Wasn't a good idea that.
The co-codamol yesterday must have been suppressing my cold symptoms - I'm sniffling a bit today - not too bad because I have only sneezed twice. Leg is better today, still hobbling but not quite so painful so I didn't need to take any more co-codamol. @maglil55, I hope you are feeling better now, or at least, getting there.
