Seriously LC roll - they assure me their palm oil is certified sustainable and palm oil has benefits -
Not for the Orangutans in Indonesia and Malaysia it's not, they are on the endangered list there because of the strip and burn mentality of the palm oil growers.

Just about to sip my green clove tea which I seem to have begun to be addicted to! I’ve also started adding a slice of raw ginger root to it
I've been adding a clove or 2 to whatever tea I'm having. Not too fond of it with mint but it goes well with my favourite lemon and ginger. Nice too with berry or orange tea.
Just watch out, it's easy to swallow a whole clove by mistake! Haven't had one go down my throat yet . Should really use a strainer.

B: ff greek with berries and chia seeds. Just noticed the packet says to limit chia seed to 15g a day. Any idea why anyone?
Gardening, so many new shoots appearing, and so many weeds!
L: olives, bit of manchego cheese, 3 slices of pickled gherkin. 2 squares berry cake. Hot moccha
New zumba class means a later than usual dinner
D: 2 heck sausages with carrots, swede and cabbage, sprinkled with leftover mozzarella. Cheese crisps which I overcooked so slightly burnt flavour.

Busy day including starting my first batch of fermented peppers - they need 72 hours - will let you know! Also did some of my usual peppers roasted, skinned sliced into strips and then put in jar with a few cloves of garlic, some rosemary, a dash of balsamic vinegar and extra virgin olive oil - just keeps in fridge for about a week, gather fermented ones once put in white wine vinegar after their fermentation will last 4 weeks in fridge. Next batch yoghurt ready in am.
Late lunch exactly as yesterday home made chicken liver pate with slices of pepper, celery, cucumber and a spoon of beetroot kimchi with the hard to get M and S seeded crackers. I’m going to a large city next Tuesday so an M and S visit planned. I’ve got 2 more packs in stock but don’t want to run out! However the link provided by @ianpspurs to those other low carb crackers look like a tempting replacement. Pudding a few raspberries with my last hm yoghurt
Dinner roasted whole free range chicken (came with giblets too which are still slowly cooking for stock with 2 previous carcasses had in freezer) one chipolata sausage, roast celeriac and cauliflower mash. Pudding LC raspberry bakewell with remains of first batch of yoghurt.
Just about to sip my green clove tea which I seem to have begun to be addicted to! I’ve also started adding a slice of raw ginger root to it.
I seem to be following your footsteps…I have been looking into fermenting some sauerkraut, using the cloves in my tea after your first mentioned it and just saw your comment about ginger and it made me smile as yesterday I dug up my ginger and had added a slice to my tea.

Hello everybody. Hope you have all had a good day. BF today 2 boiled eggs and 2 buttered Ryvitas. L. Mince with onion, carrot and buttered celeriac. Tea. Jelly and cream, nothing else, wasn't hungry. Snack mid morning 4 squares of Raspberry and Almond 70% choc. One day I'll get onto the 85%.

Is a serving just one biscuit, @Rachox? I think it would be difficult not to eat the lot!
I managed to stop at 2! But they were being shared out. A quick calculation would confirm that a serving is one biscuit :hungry:

The serving is never one biscuit, it's impossible!

Had a burger with cheese and fried onions and a quick salad of endive, onion and tomato with mayonnaise.

Groceries tomorrow morning. I'm thinking either creamy tomato soup or something like cabbage carbonara. Or maybe something completely different will come up, we'll see!

Made my own breakfast cereal today. Since the wholemeal bread didn't seem to give me a spike in BG, I made croutons with a slice (baked with some olive oil), added some slices of banana and yoghurt. It was very crunchy, but quite pleasant. However, BG topped off at 15.9 about an hour later, then dropped back to 8.5 after 2 hours. Might have been the wheat or the banana.

2nd meal will be rib-eye steak with green beans. Would have been mushrooms, but couldn't get any with the order from Tesco.

B: ff greek with seeds and berries
L: olives, cold cuts, cheese. One sixth of the no sugar/yoghurt mix
Mid afternoon lc coffee and walnut cake (adapted from a recipe for coffee cake). Went downe well with our visitors who I was introducing to lc food.
D: will be out at an event where the preorder options were fish or chicken or sausage, all with chips. Think I went for the chicken. There will be wine, so I will probably succumb to too many chips

@RosemaryJackson sorry to hear you felt off first thing.thought it was worth mentioning that a lot of us who eat low carb find we are just not hungry first thing and often opt for two meals. I tend to fast 18 hours and have 2 meals in 6 hour window. If I eat brekky it’s usually late - breaking my fast just slightly earlier at 16 hours. This isn’t difficult I’m not usually hungry and I would eat if I was.
Lunch chicken salad and a lowish carb seeded flatbread followed by a few raspberries and yoghurt
Dinner salmon in lemon butter with cauliflower cheese and green beans and glass of dry white wine followed by hm lc lemon and lime jelly cream with extra dollop of latest hm yoghurt.
