Rubbish picture, tasty food!

Half of a 'fish fillet á la Bordelaise from Aldi, much less carby than it looks.
An improvised cabbage dish which turned out very tasty, Happt there is another portion left. :)

Fried an onion, added some pointy cabbage and Chinese cabbage, a little water, curry powder, half a herby stock cube and left to stew for 10 minutes. Fried a few cubes of Turkish sucuk sausage for flavour.
Added grated mature Gouda and the last of some gorgonzola almost too far gone even for my tastes, but still usable in a hot dish. :hungry:

Morning all. Yesterday, I had bacon, egg and mushroom for bf and later I had a pork steak with cauli, peas and carrots with a mushroom sauce (lc). Just had the 2 meals. Today I have marinated 2 chicken legs in Lea and Perrins, soy sauce, mustard and tomato puree. I have some sweetheart cabbage to go with them. If I want any tea, I have some Ryvitas plus cheese or ham or tinned salmon. Have a good day all.

Why does pizza always taste better the next day?! :joyful:

In my view, quite a lot of our creations taste even better the next day @Rachox. Perhaps it's because standing overnight in the fridge allows the flavour from all the various ingredients to develop and mingle.

lunch Cheeses and kimchi with a few LC seeded crackers
Dinner HM chicken curry with LC Roti followed by a few berries and yoghurt.
today just had brunch of bacon, egg and mushrooms and just about to have a few berries - from garden, not many as the birds seem to be sharing them with us I spotted a blackbird this morning heading into the raspberry canes and emergency with a lovely red juicy raspberry in his beak! - and hm yoghurt
Planning roast chicken dinner later.

The steak in the fridge expired today, but I didn't really fancy it, so I chopped it up and made a sirloin steak vindaloo, with mushrooms, accompanied by a thin ring of basmati rice. It was nice, and not too hot.

Oh wow! We're approaching the peak season for raspberries here in the UK. With yoghurt or cream, they make a delicious, diabetic-friendly pud.

Blackbirds are certainly partial to raspberries @shelley262, as you say, but in recent years we've seen a decline in blackbird numbers here in London.
