What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

Skipped breakfast, 2 cans of baked beans in tomato sauce with cinnamon turmeric, garlic and hot sauce for lunch, dinner smoked salmon and humus(chikpeas) spread with olives, wholemeal seeded bread, coffee with natural (stevia) sweetner. Tea also with natural sweetner.
 
How coincidential!

I also had dinner with friends at a tapas bar today.
I had prawns in hot garlic oil and on the empty plate (slate?) were very lightly battered calamari, eaten before I made the picture.

I also had some roasted almonds from the person at the opposite side of the table and some cheese from the platter the people to my right shared for dessert.

Oh yes, tapas are meant to be shared @Antje77. Much of the pleasure as well as the fun is about sharing a plate with your friends. Those prawns look scrumptious.
 
Today:

B: Two poached eggs topped with a knob of butter, avocado and four tiger prawns, seasoned with a good grinding of black pepper.
Water to swallow tablet.
Espresso.

Courgetti alla puttanesca
made with anchovies, Kalamata olives, capers, canned tomatoes, garlic, olive oil, butter, parsley and spiralised courgettes.
Braised cavolo nero with garlic and toasted almonds.
Skipped pud.
Water to drink.

D: Seafood salad made with brown shrimps, mussels, lettuce, finely shredded red cabbage, apple peel, celery, baby plum tomatoes and mustard cress with a dollop of aioli for dipping, topped with toasted pistachios.
Water to swallow tablets.
 
Breakfast kefir with seeds and nuts
Lunch some cheese with four low carb crackers followed by the peel of a local apple and a couple of squares of 100% Montezuma chocolate
Dinner slow cooked beef shin served with mushroom sauce( made with meat juices and cream added to mushrooms cooked in olive oil) and cauliflower cheese with glass of red.

Breakfast: M&S grain free granola with coconut milk (no strawberries for my usual breakfast, not been shopping after holidays yet!) washed down with a black coffee.
Late morning: black coffee and a carb killa bar.
Skipped lunch.
Mid afternoon: black coffee and another carb killa bar.
Dinner: chilli con carne with cauliflower rice.

D- bacon and Brie on l/c roll with fermented red cabbage ( in place of the cranberry sauce that usually accompanies this type of thing) plus a mushroom stuffed with Stilton.
 
Had my meals in a funny order again. :hilarious:

Breakfast was deli meats and cheeses, and a couple of olives, something you'd usually eat in the evening, evening meal was what looks like breakfast to the English I suppose.
A tomato was meant to be fried as well, but it was still in my car and I didn't want it enough to crawl out of my tent and through the rain.

I even had dessert!

Living it up, eh? @Antje77. Seriously, it's good to know you're eating well whilst camping.
Who cares what order we eat our meals just as long as they're enjoyable and as low carb as practicable.
 
Evening all

Today

A wedge of Teifi (pronounced Tavey) an organic, unpasteurised cow's milk cheese from Wales.
Water to swallow tablet.
Espresso.

L: Orkney organic salmon fillets baked en papillote with mushrooms, spinach, Kalamata olives, lemon zest, sprigs of thyme, sage leaves and butter.
Steamed asparagus and French beans smothered with butter.
Water to drink.
Skipped pud.

D Seafood salad using crab, brown shrimps, lettuce, cherry tomatoes, chicory, Romano peppers, Halkidiki olives and salad onions, dressed with an olive oil, mint, balsamic and garlic vinaigrette, topped with toasted pumpkin seeds.
Water to wash down tablets.
 
Morning all. Monday's lunch at club was, soup (not sure which kind)... 1 scoop creamed potatoes,cauli, carrots and 2 sausages. Own pudding of sf jelly with yogurt. Yesterday I didn't feel like eating so just had a piece of cheese in the morning and bacon and eggs later. Today I have a chicken leg but not sure when I will eat it as I'm not hungry. Hope you all have a nice day. :)
