Morning all. Yesterday I had fish done in the oven and at teatime had a ham sandwich. I had chocolate too. The temptations are too great! But everything is now gone out of my pantry, just some pate in the fridge. Almost back to normal at home but am out for meals over the New Year with family Happy, Healthy New Year everybody. :joyful:

Brussels sprouts and Air fryer.
I find par boiling (or microwaving) sprouts first, then tossing in a little olive oil (add flavour such as lemon, garlic, chilli here if liked) then finishing in airfryer gives best just char grilled but not burnt results

Plain Greek yoghurt followed later by more! A hungry day today, alas.

Dinner - preceded by the usual assorted nuts - will be my keto fish pie. Cod pieces (as opposed to codpieces) and salmon pieces, a tin of anchovies spread over that, a couple of slices of lemon, topping of very thinly sliced leeks with a cheese crust. That's it, but it seems to work.

Might have a glass of brandy as Santa brought me a bottle of it.

Breakfast kefir then fried some mushrooms in olive oil and served with fried egg
Lunch nuts, cheese and low carb crackers followed by two of my hotel chocolat dark chocs
Dinner roast chicken with salad
Off out soon to celebrate New Year with friends - so no doubt nibbles and wine will be consumed! I'm taking my own low carb crackers to have with the cheese so that I'm not tempted by any of the carby nibbles.
Wishing all my forum friends a Happy, peaceful and healthy 2025.

Happy New Year to you too @shelley262 and all on this lovely thread.
@Outlier thanks for the childish laugh your post gave me!
Today I had breakfast of 2 eggs fried in butter.
Lunch shared a baked Camembert. I had red peppers, radishes and walnuts for dipping. DGF cake to follow.
Dinner - back to DietDoctor recipes for me. I’m going to follow their 5 week keto reset plan. I’d forgotten how tasty this particular recipe is
https://www.dietdoctor.com/recipes/kristies-chicken-philly-cheesesteak-casserole glass (or 2 probably) of red.

It's New Years Eve, the weather is horrible, high time for a festive meal!

I'm experimenting with LC toast (trying to find out what the English love for toast is all about, it's not much a Dutch thing) and I think I like it.

So a slice of LC bread, dry toasted in frying pan. Half with (lots of) butter and marmite, a quarter with 'smeerkaas' (Dutch type of semi liquid cheese), half with parmesan. Olives, Fuet dried sausage, cream cheese filled sweet peppers (not very LC but fine on a whole meal, and my bg needed a nudge up anyway), a sharp blue cheese and a very tasty and overripe goats cheese.

Happy 2025 everyone!

I think lots of butter while the toast is still hot is key for me…as an ex English! I also like it with tinned sardines sprinkled with flaky salt or avocado with feta crumbled on.

2 eggs fried in butter for breakfast.
Spent the day helping daughter come to grips with her new Ninja multi cooker. She made lamb chops with pilaf rice. (I had cauli rice with fried shallots, mushrooms and yellow pepper). We followed it with the latest cheese selection from the cheese subscription another daughter gave me for Christmas. They were all lovely though not quite as nicely arranged as your cheese platter @Antje77 !

Breakfast kefir then a few tomatoes cooked in olive oil served on one slice of low carb toast
Lunch cheese and a few low carb seeded crackers followed by three of my festive chocs ( got six to eat yet - will be good when all gone!)
Dinner steak with mushrooms, onions and a few tomatoes and glass of Shiraz red wine followed by a DGF low carb mince pie warmed and served with spoon of cream.
Must admit to looking forward to having finished all my festive goodies - all low carb in small quantities but more tempting than my normal fare so just eating more!

Back on here recording meals I do usually browse the thread because I love food and some good ideas on here .
Yesterday put new sensor on but the readings were all over the place ..so had to ignore most of them ...right less waffle
Yesterday brunch was tuna tomato and garlic and some cream crackers .
Evening meal ( late afternoon ) was homemade beef casserole with a small shrived up jacket potato .
Did ended up having Christmas chocolates later ( Cherry liquors) .
Not sure of carb intake but far far less than the last month .

@mojo37 good to see you back, I find it’s much easier to stay on track when I’m posting on here.
Poor night’s sleep last night meant I felt cold and hungry all day. Had my current usual breakfast of 2 fried eggs, then second breakfast of Greek yoghurt and seeds.
L- leftover cauli rice pilaf spiced up with Nando’s hot sauce. DGF Crimbo Crumble and clotted cream.
D-,Lamb shank slow cooked in red wine with cavolo nero. Montezuma’s AB with orange

@mojo37 good to see you posting - like @DJC3 I find it helps me to think more about what I'm eating when I'm recording my food that day.
Breakfast kefir then scrambled three eggs in butter
Lunch home made soup followed by ginger tea - all good till I decided I needed three of my Christmas chocs! Still on the positive side only three left now! Some food is just too tempting to have house room.....
Dinner pork casserole, sprouts and one roast potato ( it had been one of a bag of hm par boiled and frozen potatoes and was cooked from frozen in goose fat)
