What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

Ate more than usual today
Breakfast kefir then fried some mushrooms and served on low carb toast with a fried egg
Lunch more nuts than planned with cheese and low carb seeded crackers and a few segments of a satsuma
Dinner wild salmon with cauliflower cheese followed by a DGF individual low carb Christmas pudding - it was delicious very rich and nutty - but fairly big for me! Served with cream and feel a bit overful!
 
Breakfast: my usual low carb coconut ‘porridge’ with strawberries washed down with a black coffee.
Late morning: black coffee and a carb killa bar.
Skipped lunch.
Mid afternoon: black coffee and another carb killa bar.
Dinner: salmon and cream cheese on a LC roll with coleslaw.

@filly your cheese board sounds excellent I have lots of cheese arriving tomorrow enjoy yours this festive season.

Lunch a cooked chicken leg with handful of nuts followed by a few segments of satsuma and one square of 90% chocolate
Dinner hm chicken curry with low carb roti and a glass of gin with soda water followed by a low carb brownie.

I’m another who has gone rather over-cheese- board this year. I came back from the farmers market today with loads. We’ve already started one so I hope the rest lasts til Christmas!
Late breakfast at a cafe near the market was bacon, egg and mushrooms with black coffee.
Lunch M&S 10% fat Greek yoghurt, blueberries and seeds.
Dinner chicken and chorizo airfryer traybake with a bit of abovementioned cheese to follow with a glass of red.

@DJC3 thought I'd share our Christmas cheese board purchased today luckily cheese lasts a long time so will see us into 2025

Never tried the Taleggio or Cornish blue so that will be interesting.
Breakfast kefir then fried a few tomatoes in olive oil and served on low carb toast
Lunch made some organic mushroom pate - served a portion with celery, a handful of nuts and low carb seeded crackers

Dinner chicken casserole with a few garden peas followed by low carb mince pie (dgf) with spoon of cream.

Mid afternoon: black coffee and another carb killa bar.
Dinner: carbonara made with low carb pasta, bacon and peas with beaten egg and cream mixed in. Then a sprinkle of parmesan cheese on top.

Breakfast kefir and then scrambled eggs before going out
Lunch - late - home cooked ham with a few nuts and spoon of coleslaw
Dinner fillet steak, broccoli, cauliflower, mushrooms and tomatoes with large glass of red wine followed by decaffeinated coffee and one of my hotel chocolate dark chocolate truffles ( a Christmas treat)

Dinner: bolognese, family meal, so varying levels of carbs, low for me and hubby so sliced sautéed courgette accompaniment, high carb for adult son so tagliatelle with his. Then adult daughter couldn’t make up her mind so had half and half!

Lunch traditional Xmas lunch with small portions of the more carby things, followed by DGF Xmas Pudding with cream.
Tea was a buffet, I had nuts, pigs in blankets salad and hummus, followed by trifle made with DGF chrimbo crumble cake, sugar free jelly, low sugar custard and cream.
