Yesterday bed time reading: 4.3
This morning waking BG: 5.6
An hour later - pre-breakfast BG: 7.1
2 hours post very low carb breakfast (1.2g of carb): 7.8
:arghh::arghh::arghh::arghh::arghh::arghh::arghh::arghh::arghh::arghh:

Breakfast: Three chipolata sausages snaffled from Mr. C's plate after that 7.1 reading - eaten in an effort to stop my BG from keeping on zooming upwards in a quite spectacular dawn phenomenan. Didn't work.

Lunch: Nothing

Dinner: Heroin chicken done both ways, spiced roasted butternut squash and large salad - or might be spinach

Hello
B. Red berries with cream

L. Out at garden centre. I ordered salmon with a sauce and seasonal vegetables. I asked for no potatoes . The meal arrived with a large portion of mashed potato. I asked the waitress if they could remove the potato as I had asked for no potatoes. She returned with the plate on which was sitting a very large Yorkshire pudding! "They've put a Yorkshire on for you instead of the potato", she said. I just thanked her and left the Yorkshire. Is it my week to be tormented by the Yorkshire pud! Lol lol :)

D. Will be cheese and olives :)

@mo53 - I love the idea of being tormented by Yorkshire puds - it has really made me laugh out load :) :)

Saturday
B. Black Tea (I too was heading to Dobbies Garden centre after swimming for the annual Santa visit)
L. Roast turkey, couple of chipolatas, gravy , parsnip, carrot and a load of sprouts. No potato - they listened - but yes a flaming Yorkshire pudding appeared.
Coffee
D. M&S smokehouse chicken , Lidl's German sausage with peppers and chicken with maple syrup, Ox tongue and roast pork (got the girl to cut it thin so I could have a mix). Lettuce, 1/2 Avocado, 3 cherry tomatoes, 6 almonds and a boiled egg.
Black Tea and mixed berries.
What is it with Garden Centres and Yorkshire puddings!
