Oh no, maybe you under cooked it? Mines not runny, just ‘porridge’ like!
I checked the coconut 'cream' had 'low fat' in tiny letters on the label. Doh!

Sunday:
Brunch: Egg, bacon, sausage, mushrooms, haggis, coffee with cream.
Early dinner: Rump steak, salad, haloumi fries. A cheeky bottle of beer.

Monday
Breakfast: Coffee a teaspoon of cream
Lunch low carb muffin with peanut butter
Dinner ham and egg salad.
Four cups of coffee throughout the day plus mineral water.
Done eating until lunchtime tomorrow.
Have been seeing BG levels mainly 5s but still fasting in 6s which remain until after midday. At last there have been no 7s for several days. Was even fine after beer, but not planning to repeat that experiment too often.

Soooo... let me see...

Last few days has seen me consume

2 bowls of Awful Soup (yum!)
Chicken wings in DIY LC BBQ spices
3 naked 5 Guys burgers, with cheese, mayo, mustard, and sometimes ketchup or relish
Tuna, hard boiled eggs and grated cheese
Baked chicken thighs with pepperami and cheddar
Some hotel Chocolat v dark choc puddles and a bar of Lindt

Mr B is working tonight, and has irresponsibly left me alone with a mango puree greek yog! Talk about living dangerously! Or is is passionfruit? May have to check... :nailbiting:

Breakfast one slice of bacon and one egg
Lunch tin of mackerel in olive oil with stick of celery and four lc seeded crispbreads followed by small CCB
Dinner small portion of chilli with bed of buttered mushrooms followed by small raspberry clafoutis with yoghurt and coffee with 2 pieces of 85% chocolate.
Not a straightforward day and felt in need of the unplanned Chocky - maybe I should have had bigger portion of chilli instead! It’s a puppy care day tomorrow though which I’m looking forward to.

Brekkie - low carb bread, peanut butter, tea

Mid morning - quick couple of cubes of cheese as I was peckish and I had to go to the bank for work and anticipated a long wait (I wasn't wrong ...)

Lunch - lo dough pepperoni pizza (yum!) Strawberries and double cream

Dinner - ranch steak with mixed tomatoes and rocket. Chocolate 'mousse' - more like ganache really, made with melted 85% choc and double creamIMG-20180903-WA0010.jpg

Hello all.

@Pipp -- Wonderful results, it is good to see your numbers dropping.

Breakfast: Two scrambled eggs with butter and cheddar.

Lunch: Shared a Döner Kebab with tzatziki and goat cheese with hubby. Some Ayran.

Snack: Two scoops of Oppo vanilla ice cream, whipped cream with erythritol and low-carb sesame brittle. About 5g of 85% chocolate. A small piece of cheddar.

Dinner: Nothing.

Yes, yummie, I make seed crackers from super keto recipe www.dietdoctor.com I attach links below of all the breads and crackers I make from their website, all work very well and delicious. The only thing I add over and above any of the ingredients is fresh finely chopped garlic. The Seed cracker recipe is in the links below. You may like to explore and try, and happy cooking in the kitchen. Your friends will love them too!! Seed Crackers keep for up to 3 weeks in an air tight container.

Ps keto flatbread med. I double up on the recipe. I cut them into squares, "freeze" them, and when required i.e. breakie flatbread with avocado/tom, I just pop a couple into the toaster to crispen them up. Dont feel guilty eating the flatbread as I use cocoflour. Pysillum husk can be bought at any health store and last long time, ensure you get the 0 or 0.1 carbs brand.

Have a beautiful day. Mallorca

Thank you, what a lot of info @pollensa.
I did wonder if your crackers were the diet doctor ones - I have made them and also @shelley262 s modified and even lower carb version - I agree they are great and very versatile.
I havent tried the others though, so I’m grateful for the recommendations. The flatbreads sound brilliant.

Bit of a rubbish day as bgs still inexplicably rising. I’m now back to my average of March this year when I was only a few weeks into low carbing.
Day started with a ‘Balance Below’ text from the bank - always a dismal wake up call.
B: 1/2 a toasted 90sec microwave bread slice with a portobello mushroom and a poached egg
L: Bits and bobs which were looking sad in the fridge - a bit of cold chicken, the end of a lump of cheese, the last few olives and a few walnuts. Sf jelly and cream
Went back to yoga this evening which has helped improve my mood
D: mackerel fillet mashed with cream cheese to make a pate, served on Iceberg lettuce leaves then a double cream and almond butter mix up mousse - was supposed to have melted chocolate in it but I put the wrong bowl in the microwave and it exploded - irs been that kind of day!

Evening all, late posting as I was having my monthly pamper session.
Returned home from weekend break today and am almost back in the swing of things food wise.
Coffee with cream while I was packing
B was a small cooked breakfast from Morrison’s on our way home
L not really hungry so just had some ham and mozzarella with an almond milk coffee
Still not really hungry but needed to eat something so as not to suffer with a rumble tum during my facial so I made a smoothie with almond milk and some low carb chocolate granola and 2 slices of Hilo toasted with peanut butter
Tomorrow will see me back in the low carb saddle.

Hug on its way to you we all have those days and it’s been a bit grey today. I’m sure it’s not about what you’ve eaten but that a lot is going on for you etc - you’ve been really busy. Once things settle I’m sure your bgs will again as well. Be kind to yourself meanwhile.

Hope things settle down for you, I am amazed how that little meter and teeny drops of blood can bring a smile or a feeling of doom & gloom, the carefree days of not testing seem a long way away now don’t they, it’s a bit like the condition itself a blessing and a curse.

Breakfast: my usual low carb coconut ‘porridge’ with strawberries and cream washed down with a black coffee.
Mid morning: carb killa Jaffa bar
Lunch: none! Not like me but we were on the road.
Mid afternoon: black coffee and CCB
Dinner: bacon and feta cheese fritatta with char grilled cauliflower, broccoli and pine nuts and 1/4 of a ciabatta garlic bread :wideyed: yes I ate bread! Blood sugar before 5.2, 2 hours later 5.1, got away with that holiday treat! :)

Thanks for the hug. I’m not feeling stressed ( well, apart from Bgs!) so its strange. Hope its not a sign of anything more sinister.
I’ll take a leaf out of your book anyway I think and practice some mindfulness - we learned a new breathing technique at yoga last night so that’s on the cards for today.

Too right - colours the whole day doesn’t it? Did your facial affect your numbers? It’s so relaxing, I love having one too.
