This sounds like a winner!
I just bought the starter pack of 2 so will try your breakfast wrap and @Brunneria ‘s quiche I think.
Oh it is. I made it again today. The carb difference is 56g in the McDonald's version 4g in the lo dough and it tastes like I remember.

It felt like the hottest day of this spell here today and similar promised for tomorrow. I feel nicely fed and just off to do the final exercise session of the day. Menu below:

7. 20 - 9.10- 2 pints tea with H/M almond milk
9.10 2 Portabello mushrooms; poached egg (2); 40 gms grated cheese; 30 mins good pace ex bike afterwards;
12.30.. 1. 20 Waitrose coffee and sweetener with inulin; Arla lactofree (not soya ) single cream;
14.15 Prawn and avocado salad ( cucumber, spring onions, watercress, rocket, spinach, pea shoots and edible flowers, tomato) ; 30 gms chia seeds; h/m garlic mayo; 30 mins steady ex bike then straight into hot tub!
16: 40 Water flavoured with lime; h/m high fibre bar; raspberries; extra thick cream; lots more water with lime
19.10: Duck confit (reduced to £2.50 and pack says 0 carbs) I knew France would win so it seemed appropriate; pea shoots and flowers developed a taste for these ;h/m garlic mayo; 30 mins good pace ex bike

Popped to Tesco with hubby this morning as he had a problem with his phone and while he was sorting it out I had a browse round the veggies. I picked up some Edam bites and when we got home whilst cooking the late breakfast I decided to give them a try . They didn’t taste like cheese just rather spicy not very nice . On closer inspection I realized I had not got Edam bites but Edamame bites which are red quinoa, ginger and coriander. I ate two straight from the pack and on reading the information you cook them on a stir fry !! Definitely a senior moment!!
Breakfast bacon egg and. Slice of livlife toast
No lunch as breakfast so late
Dinner avocado and prawn salad with Parmesan flakes onion and 2 cherry tomatoes
Raspberries and cream late

Thanks for the welcome back @maglil55 I can’t believe the holiday is over either. They go so fast! The low carb snacks are great - as I unpacked this morning I realised I’d bought far more than I realised, especially chocolate - 13 bars and a decent stock of the Ghirardelli 92% squares. Doesn’t rival your 2.5kgs @ianpspurs but should keep me going for a while.

Forgot to mention yesterday that I saw one shop in New York selling a new Lindt product - 88% chocolate. Presumably it will arrive here at some point.

Like @jayney27 am not relishing the return to work, especially in this heat. At least in the US there was air conditioning to retreat back to.

There seems to be quite a lo dough craze on here. Might have to join in once my stock of Lidl rolls runs out (about 4 or 5 left).

Today was one of those days where I couldn’t stop eating. Blaming it on the jet lag and being out of sync. Woke early and planned OMAD, but by 8.30 was really hungry so had a breakfast of a 65g bag of salted almonds, 1 mini babybel cheddar and 25g of Trader Joes chocolate.

Then lasted until about 3.30 when I decided to have some Oppo chocolate and hazelnut ice cream with cream. That seemed to increase hunger and led to a bag of moon cheese and a smaller bag of salted almonds.

Dinner was a reheated portion of the old style Waitrose lamb kleftico followed by lazy dessert of extra thick double cream mixed with almond butter and 5 Hotel Chocolat buttons. Have missed that!

I keep meaning to try this cream and nut butter dessert, it always makes my mouth water when I read it.

First lo-dough failure today. :D

Had a bacon omelette for brekkie.
Then rolled up my sleeves and made a chicken ham and leek pie filling. Filling good. Lo-dough pie crust not so. Couldn’t get the lid to stick to the sides, and it was just like cardboard.. Mr B was happy, but i just ate the filling and left the crust.
I also ate the leek instead of picking it out. Stupid. The repercussions have begun!

Hope everyone had a good day. I woke wishing I hadn’t imbibed several glasses of red wines last night although my fbg was very low! I just can’t drink more than one glass, or a push two, anymore I’m a lightweight re alcohol on this way of eating. Anyway have to do abstinence for next day or two to prepare for lipids fasting test so made it easier - I’m just not tempted today!
Breakfast one sausage, slice bacon and egg
Lunch cheese and four LC seeded crispbreads followed by thin slice lemon cake and yoghurt
Dinner chicken curry and one slice of LC bread fried in coconut oil followed by sf jelly and yoghurt.
How do you prepare for the lipids test? So far I have just not eaten for 12+ hours beforehand. Are there other measures to be taken?

Another very hot dry day!
B. Small piece of tortilla that I found lurking in the back of the fridge, black tea, black coffee.
L. Sumptuous feast in the garden of a friend. He also prefers a LCMF diet but is not diabetic. Smoked salmon rolls filled with cream cheese and prawns, prawns and asparagus wrapped in spring onion leaves with chilli sauce, feta, watermelon and mint salad, garden salad, chilled ratatouille, Prosecco, lots of water, black coffee.
D. Pea and mint dip with sugar snap peas, followed by cold fillet of salmon, leftover courgette salad, leftover roast cauliflower and chickpea salad. Lots more water.
Reckon I definitely cracked the 5-a-day!

Certainly was a sumptuous feast @Dr Snoddy. I think I need to find friends like that.

Just water fast for 12 to 14 hours but also ideally no alcohol for the previous two to three nights - it can up your Trigs I gather! I’ve also read advice to ditch coffee for up to five days beforehand but that’s a step too far for me! I’ve changed to filter coffee and hoping that will be enough!

Love the sound of your lunch menu, just wondering what I might be able to wrap prawns and asparagus in, I don’t have any spring onion :)

Maybe long strips of leek, lightly blanched or chives? They were very cute little parcels.

Parma ham on the asperagus and griddle them. Prawns keep the tail on , dip in beaten egg and coat in the ground pork scratching, parmesan, chopped parsley mix and fry quickly. Or wrap in very thin Fathead dough and fry.

@jayney27 - another one for prawns is bacon wrap. Use raw prawns. Remember to Devein, tail on and marinade in a mix of chipolte paste and lime juice. You might want a touch of xylitol in it to.
Use rolled out streaky bacon and part cook it between 2 sheets kitchen towel in the microwave. You still want it soft and easy to roll. It takes 90 secs in mine. Wrap the marinated prawns in a bit part cooked bacon and pop them in the oven for about 5 mins to crisp the bacon.

Thank you I will definitely try these, I can do the bacon version as I always have bacon available :)

Breakfast: my usual low carb coconut ‘porridge’ with strawberries and cream washed down with a black coffee.
Lunch at Wetherspoons, took my son back to Uni: gammon steak, tomatoe, mushroom, peas and salad.
Mid-afternoon in the M25 carpark! : SF squash and a PhD bar.
Dinner: cold meats, cheese and salad buffet followed by one Jaffa cake.

What a fabulous sounding menu. I’m not hungry but my mouth is watering just reading it.
