What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

Breakfast: my usual low carb coconut ‘porridge’ with strawberries washed down with a black coffee.
Late morning: black coffee and a phd bar.
Skipped lunch.
Mid afternoon: black coffee and a Carb killa bar.
Dinner: pork belly slices, oven roasted with Brussels, cauliflower and brocolli, a splash of gravy and a little apple sauce followed by SF blackcurrant jelly and cream.

Skipped breakfast, exercise class.
Went for Hba1c but it was cancelled as someone took seriously ill before me.2 week wait for next one.
L: a sort of 90 second bread (grated cheese, egg, milled seeds, baking powder) with ham and 2 cherry tomatoes
D: leftover pork reheated with cream of mushroom soup, extra mushrooms and cream served with green beans and Brussels sprouts. Small ice cream.
1 Scotch and ginger ale

No breakfast, went for workout at swimming pool
lunch: what I should have had for breakfast, Greek full fat yogurt, blueberries and walnuts, black coffee x2

Dinner: salmon with lemon mayo, broccoli in cheese and chives sauce, sparkling mineral water.

Strange sensation for me, feeling a bit hungry at 9:30pm. Not wanting to spoil my IF eating window, so debating whether or not to have something else before sleep. Perhaps I should just get an early night, but maybe a warm drink, and a few Brazil nuts would suffice.?

Bacon and eggs, two slices of toast with a small portion of baked beans on it for breakfast.
Mixed grill fry, small pork chop, small bit of oyster blade steak, one sausage, two small slices of liver, lamb kidney, halfer tomato , rest of the baked beans for lunch
Some cheddar and blue cheese and crackers for supper at six.

Glass of single malt before a early night.

Not many carbs amongst that food stuffs.

Breakfast: one half of a fried egg (Em seems only to like the egg white these days) on a toasted crumpet.

Today I must cook. I have some beef mince which must have something done with it, some mushrooms, some sausages. Not necessarily for eating today, just for prepping ready for another day. Also promised Em some chocolate brownies when she comes in from school, and I have some very brown bananas to salvage. Not sure how much will get done. Also need to clean out the kitchen fridge. Neil cleaned some black mould off the outside of it yesterday, so I'm going to empty and check the inside - and take the chance to give it a thorough clean. Tired just thinking about it, but I must get on.

Right then ... sausages are cooked - 8 of them (just realised Neil bought me Cumberland sausages which I usually don't like, but we shall see) - 2 of them will be today's meal with some harmless veggies to go with them. 6 left over to do something else with on another day...the beef mince is on - just plain mince and onions to make a base for several other meals, I should think...Dishwasher is loaded and on (late today, should have done it in the early hours but I went to sleep)...Washing is in the dryer (wasteful of electricity, but I can't get outside, a bit damp out there anyway. Now it's 12.30 so what should be next? Em's brownies, I guess, and that might be all - steam is beginning to run out and I haven't tackled the fridge yet. Maybe once Em is here and she's busy devouring brownies, I'll be able to get on with that.

Hi All
brekkie usual slice LC toast and copious tea.
lunch was bowl of Butternut Squash soup, was freezing suddenly after spending the morning very active in the garden.
supper will be South Fried coated chicken breast from Sainsburys with Brussells and/or broccoli. Have tried this chicken once before and it didnt seem to give me a big problem and is tasty and Mr PM loves it.
Tomorrow will be the same brekkie, lunch on the run something snacky.
Supper will be chunky cod fingers and cauli cheese and leftover broccoli.
having them a day earlier as travelling to Iteland for a “Christmas” weekend with my brother and his family. I understand fish is on the menu first night. Will get back to post when I can.

I like the concept of harmless veg. Beautifully put!
For me, harmless veggies are ones with very little fibre and as little carb as I can manage so it's usually cucumber, mushrooms, onions, tomatoes, peppers. Not many others I can take these days without insider protestation.

Neil just bought himself a machine for making soya milk (could do others as well, but we'll leave it just for soya) because we have such difficulty in sourcing a soya milk that won't upset his Crohn's disease. Just experimenting with it today, so we'll see what happens.

Em's brownies are ready to come out of the oven and she is due here in about 20 minutes. I daresay she'll be happy to have warm brownies.

I had to get all the cooking done today because tomorrow the endoscope beckons and that will be a whole day wasted.

I am just joining this group and it might help me keep my eating in check  or not .
Brekie yesterday was 2 fried eggs bacon and dried fried mushroom one wholemeal roll with butter ( 22 carbs)
lunch pate and fresh garlic on a wholemeal roll ( always popular with my work colleagues lol .( 23 carbs )
