I often have peppercorn sauce with steak, but have never thought of it with salmon, so thanks for the idea. I can see it work well

Edited to read peppercorn , not pepperoni!

No breakfast
A few nuts and a cracker in the car as starting a 4-5 hour journey, which ended up taking 7!
1 stop at a services for a macdonalds double cheeseburger, threw away the bun. Half a coffee.
2nd stop. Bought milk chocolate for hubby and I need up eating a bit, but it tasted disgusting, so more nuts for me.
Probably needed to drink more water as nasty headache, but conscious of the loo situation.
D: 2 bratwurst sausages with cabbage and broccoli. First decent helping of fresh veg in 4 days.
Several cups of ginger tea.
Still have the headache.
Had a great weekend but looking forward to my own bed.

Breakfast: a ham sandwich on wholemeal bread with quite a lot of butter.
2nd meal will be cold chicken and salad.

Chopping some salady things fairly small just now (had to stop to rest my legs) for the salad in case I have guests for lunch (visit arranged weeks ago, but I suspect they have forgotten because they seem to be out of touch just now). Anyway, I'll be prepared in case they do arrive. If they come, I'll add some feta and some dressing and serve it in cos lettuce leaves with some bread and/or oatcakes. If they don't I'll keep it for later and forget about the feta and dressing. Forget about the bread as well - my sandwich was all the bread I can afford to eat today.

@maglil55 and @DJC3 that vertigo and accompanying nausea sounds really horrible, hope it packs up soon and stays away.
@Annb you seem to have “will they or won’t they” visitors expected again. Glad you have a plan for both eventualities!

Busy morning so later start to eating - just black coffee until
2 ish fried a couple of mushrooms and two eggs served with one slice of LC toast then a couple of garden berries and yoghurt
5ish duck confit leg with salads, kimchi and LC roti and glass of red wine followed by LC square of cake with decaffeinated coffee.

Today:

B: Two poached eggs topped with a knob of butter, slices of avocado and tiger prawns all seasoned with black pepper.
Water to swallow tablets.
Espresso.

L: Baked halloumi and sweet peppers.
Hummus and salad using cucumber, salad burnet, rocket, Halkidiki and Kalamata olives. raspberries, strawberry halves and mint, dressed with olive oil, garlic, a touch of lemon juice and topped with toasted sesame seeds.
Low carb pud made with milled flax seeds, homemade granola, unsweetened almond milk and cream.
Water to drink.

D: Seafood salad using crab, brown shrimps, lettuce, cherry tomatoes, celery and salad onions with a dollop of homemade aioli for dipping, topped with toasted sunflower and pumpkin seeds.
Water to swallow tablets.

Mid morning: a tuna melt/bread thingy made by mixing a tin of tuna with 3 tablespoons ground almonds and seeds, a bit of baking powder and 2 eggs all blitzed together. Made 2 good filling slices. Meant to save one for later but ate them both, the first with cheese on top.

Tried to work off my greed by some hard gardening but felt very fat and bloated and headachy.

Sitting here now with tummy not wanting food but head saying " you should eat to make yourself feel better"

Been rereading old threads on OMAD as I really want to lose this 7 or 8 pounds that crept on since first went lc . It's proving stubborn, and seems to growing. All my trousers are now too tight.

Any ideas gratefully received

Monday 31 July - bed 6.9 FBG 7.9. The vertigo is easing, so I decided I'd give my aqua class a go. The instructor told me to keep my head forward - not easy to do! I made it through, but I took it a lot easier.

B. TAG and 2 slices of SRSLY toast with ox tongue and a cheese triangle. Benecol dairy free.

L. A bit of crustless quiche. Later, 1/2 a fulfil bar.

D. Crispy squid with salad. That's the last of my freezer batch. Coating was a bit thicker than I usually do it. At least I remembered to photograph it this time. CC little chocolate pot. Moretti Zero.

Today Tuesday 1 August - bed 7 FBG 7.9. Made another trip to recycling with Hubby this time before the car changeover on Thursday. Otherwise, remained home as it is raining continually.

B. TAG and 2 slices of SRSLY toast with Ploughman's Pate. Benecol dairy free.

L. A bit of crustless quiche. Another TAG.

D. SRSLY hot dog day, with salad. CC little chocolate pot.

Glad to say that vertigo has gone.

Glad to hear that the vertigo seems to have gone. It is such a strain when things hang on like that.

Just had breakfast of fried eggs (2) on toasted, buttered crumpets (2). They were bought for Em but she hasn't been in very much during the holiday and they needed to be used up. Bit indigestible. Bit carby as well, but I think I've dosed sufficiently for that.

Later some time I will have some more of the chicken tagine from a couple of days ago.

Having an easy day after a strenuous day yesterday. My legs have gone on strike for a bit - they don't like the working conditions and are demanding a reduction in standing hours.
