What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

Looks like you’ve been eating really well on your travels @Antje77 I haven’t been following the chatty thread but I hope the recent heavy rain hasn’t caused you too much of a problem. I’d forgotten you’re camping.
Back on topic:
B- h/m yoghurt with m£S grain free granola.
L- h/m mackerel pate with l/c seedy crackers. Few squares on Montezuma’s AB
D- 2 small lamb steaks, fried mushrooms, courgettes and cabbage. I cooked this in the microwave for the first time because I’d run out of pans. Chopped, added a knob of butter and zapped for 2 minutes

, it was just right.

Things have gotten rather wet in my tent, but nothing I can't handle with some creativity.

Too windy and wet to cook in front of my tent today so I had a fry up similar to yesterday's in the early afternoon, cooked in the lee of the shower building.
One egg, one slice of black pudding, one good size rasher of bacon, some tomato.

I found a farm store yesterday and an amazing cheese place today, so a cold evening meal with my tent zipped up against the wind. :hungry:

Wow! How I love to fill half my plate with a selection of vegetables @DJC3.

Dinner I'm loving venison being in season. Cooked some venison in hm passata ( added smoked paprika as well as usual garlic and mixed herbs and loved the depth of flavour it gave) also added a small amount of well soaked low carb pasta for last hour of cooking served sprinkled with grated vintage cheddar.

For a lateish dinner I had a (bought) chicken Phall, and I finely chopped some mushrooms and fried them with cauliflower rice as a side. It wasn't that hot, I even ate the whole chillis.

Not for the faint-hearted, eh? @IanBish. In my youth, Phall (sometimes transliterated as Phaal), achieved brief notoriety here, as the hottest curry ever created. That led to competitions to see who could cope with eating the hottest curries.

Phall is a fiery dish which is still served blow-your-socks-off hot in Bangladeshi restaurants or so I'm told.. Are ready meals equally hot? Regardless, cauliflower rice sounds like an ideal accompaniment.

It wasn't that hot, despite having a five chilli rating. Having said that I had a supermarket Carolina Reaper curry a while ago, and that was hot - I struggled to finish it. The mushroom and cauliflower rice was a nice combination.
