What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

Breakfast kefir then two poached eggs on low carb toast
Lunch mackerel and salad - my salads recently have included lots of Basil leaves as I potted on a couple of supermarket basil plants into fresh soil and large pots and 4 weeks later they are doing so well on a windowsill hoping will keep going all Summer.

Dinner Sea bass and asparagus followed by hm LC rhubarb and ginger cake.

I sent off for some samples from the Panda flour range and breakfast was Panda porridge. Sadly it was a really horrible slimy texture. I’ll make their flapjacks with the rest of the porridge flour and hope they are better.
Lunch was a large green salad with feta, olives, avocado, toasted pine nuts and anchovies.
Dinner, a yellow sticker bargain from m&S harissa Lamb steaks served with green beans and air fried cauli and courgettes. Stewed rhubarb and 10% Greek yoghurt afterwards.

I’d forgotten the soda bread which is on the photo - this made with the plain Panda flour and was much nicer than the porridge mix.

Thank you for letting us know about the Panda porridge I've never tried it - although have considered it - and now won't! The flapjack recipe looks good I noticed it the other day so looking forward to your report back.

Eventually got on here - it's a lottery not get the oops message these days and site seems to look different on my browser larger text and red, orange and pink themes.
No photo today.

Think after nearly 9 years of low carb eating family understand how I eat!

I’m having frequent problems posting too @shelley262 I thought it was just the app which has been getting more unreliable for a few years now. Anyway, managed to get here tonight…Breakfast today was fried eggs, chilli sauerkraut and a rock hard avocado ( yellow sticker so should have been very ripe)
Lunch was a cheese L/c roll. I bought loads of wonderful Cornish cheese at the Royal Cornwall show yesterday. The torrential rain kept me in the food tent.
Dinner was grass fed beef topside with broc and cauli cheese, and rainbow chard sauteed in olive oil and a squeeze of lemon.
@Rachox my last 2 Libres failed, at least they are good at replacing them.

That beef looks absolutely gorgeous, @DJC3. Better than the shop-bought beef I had.

I think the quality of the beef certainly helped @IanBish but I’ve discovered the dehydrate function on my airfryer (it’s really just a very low temperature,) a 1kg topside cooked at 60C ( ie the dehydrate button) for 6hr, then rest covered for an hour. I’ve tried a few times and it’s always fabulous - pink, no blood and lovely and tender. I did sear it in a hot pan for a few seconds at the end just for appearances sake.
