Hi no I haven't assembled it to freeze - mainly because of space. I always open freeze the raw florets and then when frozen I pack into a bag and store in a bag to grab to cook.I just grab a few florets when ready to make, often just for me - I'm also married to a cauliflower hater! I would suggest if you have time before assembling you put the frozen florets you're using for a quick few mins in microwave and then get rid of water as it can make it a bit watery. I then just add cream, seasoning and cheese and pop in the oven.@shelley262 am I right in thinking you have assembled cauliflower cheese and frozen in its uncooked state ready to pop in the oven once thawed?
I’ve been given a veg box, it has 2 cauliflowers in, Paul hates cauli and I’ll never eat 2 before they go manky.
Ps I’ve been temped by the Caldesi airfryer cookbook too, good to know it’s been useful so far.
Maybe give it a go with a small amount assembled and see how it works? Let us know if you do I'd be interested.
