What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

Breakfast -1 sausage ( new variety from butcher, less rusk and more meat.) and 1 fried egg.
Out today for much longer than expected, didn’t get a chance to eat or even have a coffee which made me grumpy.
Dinner finally around 7- luckily I’d put a lamb curry in the slow cooker this morning. Served with cauli rice. L/c brownie to follow.

Photo of dinner at an American Style Diner tonight. I picked a few of the cheesiest nachos which were shared!

Breakfast kefir then scrambled eggs
Packed lunch while out and about low carb cheese roll and then later hm LC coffee and walnut cake
Dinner roast veggies and chicken breast wrapped in bacon followed by hm LC lemon cake. The low carb cake will hopefully stop me wanting to eat the baked goodies made on tonight's Great British Bake Off episode. Not the best show for a low carber but I enjoy it regardless!

Rushing out and needed to put dinner in slow cooker before left so no time for breakfast just my usual daily small kefir with fish oil.
Lunch when back simple quick two egg cheese omelette followed by portion of hm LC coffee and walnut cake.
Dinner hm Bolognese with LC pasta served with grated cheese and basil

Followed by hm LC chocolate brownie warmed and then served with cream.

Inspired by the slow-cooker wins and those LC cakes!
Breakfast: fried egg + one butcher’s sausage.
Lunch: cheese roll-ups (ham + cheddar) with cucumber sticks.
Dinner: lamb bhuna leftovers with mushroom bhaji-style sauté and a spoon of raita; a small square of hm LC coffee & walnut cake for pud.
GBBO definitely tests willpower — LC bakes help a lot.

Definitely agree about l/c cakes and GBBO

@shelley262 I’ve finally sent off for a big bag of Panda flour!
B- Greek yoghurt with seeds and blueberries
L- tin of sardines, boiled egg, artichoke hearts, chilli sauerkraut, courgettes and avocado with seedy sprinkles. Montezuma’s AB
D- small hogget chop, one sausage ( Waitrose 1 free range: v low carb) airfried courgette, aubergine cauli and cherry toms. DGF cake.

Dinner out again. Risked a chicken burger with chips, just half of the portion and half the bun. Rise in blood sugar disappointingly high compared with similar meal with a beef burger a couple of nights back. I guess less fat content? Weird double spike too.
Rubbish WiFi not letting me upload Libre chart.
