What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

Wonderful day out yesterday - the sun coming out makes such a difference at this time of year
Breakfast kefir then scrambled eggs before heading out.
Lunch was problematic it was at a place where the meals were all 'blended flavours to give a sensory experience!' So decided to go as plain as I could and ordered a piece of fish in batter. The great thing about batter is you can peel it off and leave it. The fish was lovely as was the catch up with old friends. It was easier not to be the difficult one and asking for many of ingredients to be removed.
Dinner on getting home some cheese and celery with hm LC seeded LC crackers.

Breakfast kefir then bacon and egg
Lunch cheese, celery and walnuts followed by a real treat a small Clementine. I bought some clementines to make Christmas pomanders - a family tradition we have of putting whole cloves into a small orange, wrapping in some ribbon and adding a bit of cinnamon stick to the top tied into the ribbon. Made for their Christmas fragrance - will make them in a few days as, as they are fresh oranges, they can go mouldy if made too far ahead! We put one pomander on each Christmas day table place setting.
Dinner steak, mushrooms, onions and a few small tomatoes.

Followed by hm LC chocolate brownie.

Breakfast: my usual low carb coconut ‘porridge’ with strawberries washed down with a black coffee.
Late morning: black coffee and a carb killa bar.
Skipped lunch.
Mid afternoon: black coffee and another carb killa bar.
Dinner: low carb roll with egg mayo and coleslaw.

I love the sound of your pomanders @shelley262 and I’m glad you managed to enjoy your lunch out the other day in spite of the menu.
Today I had yoghurt with seeds for a late breakfast.
Late lunch was roast topside ( the photo makes it look well done, in fact it was rosy pink and very tasty) cauli cheese, puréed swede and kalettes. A low carb lemon drizzle cake to follow.
Late evening ( too late really) some cubes of feta and pecan nuts.

Usual brunch, 2 hours late as I had a medical appointment. Dinner was crispy pork rashers with brussels sprouts and cauliflower. A slug of single malt and 4 squares of Montezuma's.
At first glance I thought that you said you had a slug ...There is a limit to low carb meat lol

@DJC3 I have been researching how to prevent orange pomanders from becoming mouldy and it suggests dehydrating them - not used this function on my air fryer to date , so giving it a go tomorrow as dinner will be a Bolognese in slow cooker.I may have a very fragrant air fryer afterwards!

Skipped breakfast as I had a drs appt early am and by the time I’d attended and come home via Boots to collect prescriptions it was late morning: so usual black coffee and a carb killa bar.
Skipped lunch.
Mid afternoon: coffee shop cappuccino and another carb killa bar.
Dinner: Balti chicken curry with cauliflower rice.

Great idea to dehydrate. I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you.
I’ve used the dehydrate function for dog treats ( from chopped heart) and also roast beef: A 1kg joint took 6 hrs then 1 hr resting under foil. Gives excellent results.
