In May I was diagnosed with T2D and a ha1c of 80.
Since then, I've gone low carb (less than 50g a day) have ensured I swim for 30 mins at least 5 times a week. I've lost 30lbs so far, and test my Blood Glucose every morning before eating. My average score over that time is 6.1 mmol/l
I've just had my follow up blood test and will know the results in 10 days or so I guess. I'd love to know if people here think I have a shot at getting below 48 mmols/mol or is 3 months too soon to expect a big drop?
I'm aware any answers are guesswork, but I'm curious to hear anyone elses experiences?
