Method

  • Combine all the ingredients in a shallow pan and marinate, covered, for at least 1 hour in the refrigerator
  • (For best results, marinate the flank steak overnight in the refrigerator.) Preheat the grill to medium heat
  • Place the flank steak directly onto the hot grill
  • Cook to desired doneness (8 to 10 minutes for rare, 10 to 12 minutes for medium, 12 to 15 minutes for well), turning the steak periodically to avoid burning.
