Hot Water Cornbread
Serves: 6
Method
- Combine cornmeal and salt; add water and oil
- Mix
well
- Fry 1/3 misture on hot griddle or skillet
coated with nonstick vegetable spray, pushing mixture
into shape of a patty with back of spatula
- Fry
patties on both sides until golden brown, about 3
minutes per side
- Serve hot.
