Method

  • Cook beans
  • Saute onions and garlic in oil until onions are clear
  • Add mushrooms, chicken broth, lemon juice, lemon pepper, and rice to beans, cook over low heat for about 1/2 hour
  • This is complete nutrition when eaten with some green salad
  • Nearly no fat, and none animal
  • You can eat as much as your heart desires and gain not an ounce
  • I soak my beans over night in soda water to eliminate gas
  • For variety, use beef stock, and other veggies sauteed, and other spices the variety is infinite The taste is DELICIOUS

To make Penny's Beans, you'll need:
  • 1 lb Cooked beans (any kind)
  • 1/2 Onion diced sauteed
  • 2 cl Garlic crushed
  • 1 tbsp Canola oil
  • 1 cup Mushrooms undrained
  • 2 cup Chicken broth (Spice Island chicken stock base)
  • 3 tbsp Lemon juice Lemon pepper to taste
  • 1 cup COOKED brown rice
