What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

Wild weather day meant I stayed indoors much of today so decorated our Christmas tree.
Breakfast fried some mushrooms in olive oil served on one slice of low carb toast and a fried egg.
Lunch cheese, a few seeded low carb crackers followed by a couple of segments of a satsuma I shared with husband and two squares of 90% chocolate
Dinner hm low carb chicken curry served with fresh coriander - followed by a coffee with cream served with a festive tot of brandy added to my coffee.

2 very small avocadoes - too young to be away from their mothers really - and too ripe to leave one for tomorrow. Just had a mug of Bovril with a slosh of cider vinegar, and dinner will be small container of assorted nuts followed by a 3-egg omelette and a leafy salad. One glass of red wine as it's a wine week.

Day 2 of power cuts due to storm Daragh. Yesterday we lived on a block of cheese that’d been left on the kitchen counter, with nuts and pork scratchings. I didn’t want to keep opening the fridge door.
This morning it came back on around 10am. Put a shoulder of lamb in oven and went out for breakfast 2 eggs, bacon and mushrooms.
Came back home to find power gone again so took the half cooked joint round to daughters to finish.
While it was cooking we emptied my freezer of meat ( a lot) and put it in another daughter’s chest freezer.
Back to first daughter to finish cooking and eating lamb shoulder, cauli cheese, sauteed sprouts and bacon and air fried peppers and onions.
Back home now to sit in candlelight. Thank goodness for the woodburner.

@DJC3 hope your power comes back soon. We lost power for a bit yesterday evening but luckily after our evening meal - it's been wild for two days.
Breakfast kefir then scrambled eggs
Lunch cheese and low carb seeded crackers followed by two squares of 90% chocolate
Dinner roast chicken, roast celeriac, two high pork % chipolata sausages and sprouts served with spoon of chicken stock

Had to head out post dinner to rescue yet another heavy fence panel that tried to fly off but thankfully wind easing now.

Breakfast kefir then fried some mushrooms in olive oil served with fried egg on low carb toast
Lunch I've been growing sprouting organic lentils for the first time this week on my windowsill so I can add crunch to winter salad - they taste crunchy and nutty

Those lentils sound good @shelley262 I need to start sprouting seeds again, a really good addition to winter salads.

B- the last of the yoghurt from the (by now) warm fridge, shared with dog Dennis.
L- Low carb cheese roll, DGF cookie.
D- Gammon steak, kale sauteed in garlic butter and a squeeze of lemon, grilled mushrooms and lazy cauli cheese ( florets cooked with cream for 3 min in microwave, then cheese stirred in til melted) I didn’t have the oven on so no brown crispy top.
