What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

Yesterday
B: Eggs, 1 x beef sausage, tomato, toast
L: Ham, tomato, black turtle beans, cheese, mixed leaves (mostly baby spinach), baby beetroot, 2 small pickled onions
D: Home crumbed fish (very light on the crumbs), chips and salad (just lettuce, tomato and onion), 1 beer

I know chips aren't low carb but I was trying to increase the carbs to cover my insulin dose. Didn't work :) Beer was, ahem, to increase the carbs as well (ok, ok, not really it was just because I wanted one)
 
Tried making cheese crisps - didn't work.. Wrong kind of cheese, I suppose. That was just to keep me going until I can think about breakfast. Don't know what to have. There is a bowl of mixed, pre-cooked meats cut into small chunks and mixed with left-over onions and mushrooms. Could have that, but it doesn't feel like breakfast.

Later is sorted - it's some cooked chicken from 2 days ago.

A bit mixed up this morning because I was up and down all night (must have had something that my body wanted rid of despite BG not being dreadfully high) so, just kept on going back to bed and stayed there, off and on, until about 8 am. Put my whole approach to the
day out.

Just tea so far, and will just have some more.
 
10ish kefir with grated frozen lemon zest and my daily supplements
1ish same as yesterday hm chicken liver pate served with some kimchi, suerkraut and salad and one slice of LC toast followed by frozen berries stirred into yoghurt to make a soft frozen berry yoghurt
3ish LC chocolate brownie with usual weak black tea
5ish slow cooked pork casserole served with one small hm roast potato and glass of red wine followed by LC blondie warmed and served with yoghurt.
 
Late breakfast of cheese and ham omelette
Lunch was SLC roll filled with cheese and ham and a couple of choc nut squares ( made from melted 100% chocolate mixed with butter and almond butter, left in fridge to set with broken walnuts sprinkled on top. 1g carb each little square)
Dinner was venison steak, very rare but so tender and delicious. Halloumi chips, spinach and broccoli. Couple of glasses of wine. IMG_1931.jpg
 
Breakfast: my usual low carb coconut ‘porridge’ with strawberries washed down with a black coffee.
Late morning: black coffee and DGF raspberry cookie.
Skipped lunch.
Mid afternoon: black coffee and a carb killa bar.
Dinner: ribs with roasted Mediterranean veggies followed by SF cherry jelly and cream.

I started February with the intention of a month of Fast 800 keto. With a thread to keep a record, mainly for myself, of what happens. Going to have a cgm stuck on too.
It didn’t happen. Not been well with ear infections and need scans so all put on hold.
Apart from the fast 800 keto. Well, the fasting hasn’t been a problem as I haven’t felt much like eating at all.
Today I have had black coffee until 2pm when I had fage yogurt, flaked almond and black coffee
Finished eating by 7pm with a cheesy ham omelette, and lots of mineral water.
Will get around to starting a thread , but perhaps lent season is a good time to fast.

Fried onion and oyster mushroom with garlic, green pepper corns, crème fraiche, a tiny bit of grated cheese (cut my finger on the grater trying to grate with wrong hand because of sore elbow and decided a tiny bit of cheese was enough), salt and pepper.
Very tasty!

Sounds and looks superb, sorry about the collateral damage to your finger though.
 
Dentist at 10 so that was motivation not to eat beforehand.

10:30 1 hard boiled egg, 1 slice hi lo bread, 20g cheese

Emotionally stressful situation arose and I made it worse by eating half a packet of ginger biscuits. At least I didn't have any thing else

18:00 1/8th of a real pizza knicked off sons plate, 2 egg omelette with cheese. Glass white wine

22:00 a sq hm lc coffee cake with 30ml double cream
 
Seeing tho my fbg was 11! this morning after that slight blip yesterday and I've felt rotten all day with blurry vision, tired, stomach-achey, itchy headed and dry throated feels, I think I'll pass up those carby things next time.

Feeling a lot better after an afternoon nap and readings back in the 5's before and after food.

lunch: 2 egg and bacon
dinner: halloumi salad, little gem lettuce, tomato, bok choi, celery, spring onion and a little houmous.

Breakfast: Mushrooms, bacon, eggs
Lunch: KFC zinger burger (I don't know if zinger burger is a worldwide thing but it's a spicy version of the chicken). I didn't eat the bun so I guess I really had crumbed chicken breast with mayo and a few pieces of limp lettuce sticking to the mayo to make it more healthful
Dinner: I don't know what to call it. Layers of pumpkin slices with feta cheese, onion, baby spinach and garlic mix between the layers
